Cool concept! I like the puzzle of creating new elements while also playing golf. I find the water-like mechanics a bit difficult to control when shooting the little guys. Also bouncing off the fence is a bit hard to predict the behavior of.
Slick/10, nice work!
really fun and well made puzzler. i was surprised with the amount of fusions there are. needs polish in the audio department. but this is a fantastic entry.
If you took all my favorite apps from a few years back and merged them, you would get slinko. With a little bit more polish, I would totally see this be an absolute banger on the app store. Good job team :D
This was brilliant! Loved the elemental merging and movement. So good!
The slimes are adorable and definitely slick! I love the merging mechanic, too. If this had hit the App Store in 2015, you'd be rich right now.
Lmao yeah better late than never I guess :) We actually took inspiration from some of those simple mobile games from back in the day but added some wacky physics and merging, glad you liked it!
Amazing! Super cool design and implementation... absolute banger!
Appreciate it! :D
Cute AND fun! I enjoyed the difficulty of lining up the perfect shot on the last level! The merging mechanics was a cool twist to the pool shooter style gameplay!
Thanks you! We enjoyed making it and adding a little bit of a wacky twist to the physics and game overall :)
Very cool looking. and was very fun to figure out some of the merge combos to actually manage to beat the level. had a really good time playing this!.
Thanks for the kind words, glad you enjoyed!
Cool visuals, I don't really understand the physics or gameplay; seems like the slinkos move differently every time so there's no way to predict what will happen. The music's cool but it doesn't really fit the gameplay and it would be cool to have some sound effects for the slinkos when you shoot them
Yeah! We had it so that each type of slime cat would have it's own slightly different movement and physics attributes. We didn't want to explain too much so we design some levels to showcase these differences intuitively.
Yeah, the music was very last minute and the sound effects are actually present but wayyy too low lmao, thanks for the feedback!
Odd physics, but a nice concept.
Yea, we didn't have much time to go back and improve the inconsistent physics but we though it added some wonky and fun behaviour in places, thanks!
The graphics are pretty cool with a unique little character!
You're pretty cool and a unique little character!
Also thanks :)
I think there's an interesting game here, but I found it hard to determine if I was getting close to a puzzle solution (or even what the goal of each level was?). I think a little bit of text explanation for new elements would have gone a long way. I initially thought I had to get all pigs in the pen, but I won a level or two by just shooting a single pig through the pen. Not sure if that was a bug or an intended solution but it left me a little confused as to what I was doing besides randomly shooting the pigs toward the goal and hoping something would work out.
The pigs and physics were very cute, regardless!
Thanks for the detailed feedback, the goal we had in mind is to get required types/elements of slime (cats) into the goal pen which we displayed on the top right of each level. We opted out of text descriptions to keep a simpler experience and design overall where players would have to use their intuition and a few tries of figuring out the main mechanic to really get going!
Also yeah, some levels were simpler as we kinda put them together last minute, we had just enough time to get a somewhat working build with all the basic mechanics we wanted to display.
Thanks for the kind words and feedback, we will consider it all for our next games :)
Hi Super cute game. I finished all the levels you had and had a great time figuring out what combos made which slime cat! great job!
Thank you so much for the comment! So happy to hear you enjoyed:)
Really cool concept. I really liked the fact that you must merge some to get the good one but the distance at which they were going to be launched is really unclear and the launch power was not consistent.
Yeah could definitely use some adjustments in that regard. Thank you for your kind comment :)
The Slimes themselves look really cute, though sometimes it feels like the slime shoots further than it should, especially when you combine two of them. My slimes were going offscreen multiple times after combining the water and electric ones, and it doesn't seem like there's any easy way to avoid that.
The electric and water ones create a storm slime which makes it go through objects and also move unpredictably, very hard to control (but definitely way too hard for the purpose of the puzzles). Thank you for the feedback and the kind comment:)
Nice concept. I like how you can combine them to give an extra boost. Gives it a timing dimension
Thank you very much for your kind comment:)
Nice concept and good looking visuals. The slime combinations were a bit unclear and the wobbling made flinging them harder. Overall a great entry for the jam!
Absolutely agree, hopefully you had fun experimenting still! Thank you for the kind comment:)
it's a very cute game. I immediately thought of billiards because of the mechanics.
thank u appreciate the kind comment:)
Funny puzzle concept. I guess N stands for Next but I'd choose a different key, atleast optionally
Thank you for the feedback:)
