We Were Edges - Free Playdate puzzle platformer teaser (20 levels)

Hi people,

Just released my first Playdate game for free download. It's called "We Were Edges" - a puzzle platformer inspired by Thomas Was Alone.

Core concept: Minimalist geometric shapes, each with unique movement abilities. Three characters that need to work together to navigate 20 handcrafted levels.

Made this as an experiment in tactile, physics-based puzzle design specific to the Playdate hardware. The constraints of the 1-bit screen and crank input ended up pushing the design in some interesting directions I wasn't expecting.

Download includes:

  • Full .pdx file for sideloading
  • Works on Playdate Simulator (free from Panic) if you don't have the hardware

This is my first complete Playdate project, so I'd genuinely appreciate any feedback - especially on difficulty curve and control feel. I know not everyone has a Playdate, but if you do (or want to try the Simulator), I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Free to download, no strings attached. Made it for the love of the platform.

Thanks for checking it out!
