Ranked from 17 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.

Which theme(s) did your game incorporate, and how?
Everything has cost, we want to explore the hero’s perspective, not as someone driven by loss, but as someone who willingly gives up what is most precious to them, piece by piece., Through the hero and the people around them, the story asks a simple but painful question: when everything has a cost, is the sacrifice truly worth it?

Did you use any pre-made assets? If so, what were they and where were they from?
No, we made everything ourselves, but we used sound effects from freesound.org and Pixabay.

Love the art! The story was a bit confusing but I was able to keep up

The controls were lagging a bit for me. But I found the characters very cute, specially the main character. Good work!

I really didn’t expect to find a Scratch game here 😂, it took me a while to find it.

Some of the dialogs didn’t show up for me, I don’t know if it’s a problem on the website that I wouldn’t have on the executable. Also I got a little lost on the story 😅, but the art style is cute.

I’d suggest fixing some typos on the dialogs. English isn’t my first language, so I don’t expect anyone to write it perfectly, but it would be a cool addition to the game.

I like the art. The controls feels clunky, and I am not sure when I enter a cutscene.

Absolutely beautiful visuals and incredibly lovely audio. Controls felt clunky, I couldn't get the grasp of the story - it felt like 2 stories were developing at once.
