How does your game represent "Slick"?
Polar Icecapade is a wintery movement-based action/adventure game. The icy lands let you slip and slide all over the place, balancing simple controls with difficult spacing. The sound effects and ambiance pull it all together to be one of the slick-type games of all time.

Very fun, I liked it!
Simple but well executed. Definitely Slick. Good job
Really unique concept! I like the mix of puzzle and combat a lot, well executed! Nice work
thanks so much! good luck in the voting—id love to see dunkey play your game lol
This is a solid offering!!! Love the music, love the camera angle
Thanks so much!
Most games I see that are made from Godot are 2D so I am really impressed that you guys made a 3D game from it:) The movement and environment of game create a chill vibe where just moving around the map is fun. Even if you took out the enemies of the game this would still be fun.
Awesome work! Good job! The kill sound is so funny XD
Fun and chaotic combat that incorporates the theme nicely. I like how the health bar is presented with the skull revealing as you lose more health.
It’s a bit buggy and a bit jank, but overall pretty fun and I like the conecpt.
thanks! yeah the browser version doesnt perform well, especially on the first load. its checking for collisions far too often
The controls felt a bit awkward to start, but started feeling good once you got in the flow! Seems like it could be fun to try to speed run
I really enjoyed it! The metal pipes sound effect really got a laugh out of me the first time I heard it :D
One thing that would have been nice is if the coins served more of a purpose, maybe increasing your thrust speed or replenishing ammo. Also there's a spot in the top left of the first map that doesn't have collision and I fell through the floor lols :)
Right after we hit submit, I had a couple friends play test it and saw them fall thru the map on the top right. Wish I had caught it before.
My plan with the coins was to have them count along with your level timer to then tally up to a score dependent on your finish time of each level and how many coins you collected.
Sadly ran out of time, this was a last day implementation. I'm happy to hear you enjoyed it!
