Thank you for your bug report regarding card “45069”.

Yes, the minion (Infinite Soldier) did gain the Surge keyword due to the side scheme (Gene Pool) being in play. However, since you defeated it during the processing of its quickstrike and moved it to the discard pile, it loses any properties it gained while in play, including the Surge keyword.

Additionally, the Surge keyword only resolves after a card is revealed, and in this case, the Surge value is 0.
