I did it!!! Love the lore, art, atmosphere, and gameplay, great on all accounts. PvP would go crazy. Maybe it's because I didn't read but I had no idea you could choose multiple modifiers. Changed the game a lot for me when I realized but idk what the AI would be thinking. Great work!
5 stars across the board cause I'm so into this game. The spy theming, the high stakes, the music, the post-processing effect (seriously plz teach me how to do it because I live for this aesthetic!!) I got so invested while playing, trying to mentally map out the behavior tree and what I could do to outsmart the op. I can only imagine the amount of time it took to plan all of this out. Also, I love the handler/opponents design. He fits the theme perfectly (and I want to like draw fanart of him, his design is so simple yet peak) ahhh I just cant get enough!!! Brb gonna go play this for like seven more hours 💣🔫🔪💥
The whole look was really slick and fun. Loved the character design and the items and how they changed up the RPS mechanic. Good game! I'd get me a low poly cig too if it didn't give me low poly cancer.
This game manages to take the most basic game ever and make it have actually interesting decisions. All the systems make you have to think really hard about your decisions. Phenomenal game!
really cool concept, i'd love to see this applied to some kind of broader narrative like inscryption! too bad that i'm training to be a fed tho.
Great twist on a classic rock, paper, scissors game! Giving each weapon it's own individual health bar adds an interesting mind game where you have to balance risk and reward and anticipate how careful or reckless your opponent could be! I realise I might be giving the AI too much credit, but the concept is there and it would be really cool to play vs different AI "personalities" or other human players. The modifiers as well add a cool spin that can be used to bluff or close options for the opponent. The presentation is already badass, some extra tactile feedback when you are hovering over your options/buttons would really complete the package I feel. Had a lot of fun with this game, fantastic job!
I was a little worried at the start it would just be an entirely luck-based game when the practice round had me just playing Rock, Paper, Scissors, but I was pleasantly surprised as the game continued and it evolved into a bit of a luck/strategy game. I can say I successfully made it into S.L.I.C.K.!
I had a couple of issues, I'm glad that you could hover over the enemy's equipment to see what they had, but especially with the machete it was hard to see if the enemy had it equipped just from a glance... And there was a time or two when we BOTH used brass knuckles, both had an upgraded weapon, and I technically won the Rock/Paper/Scissors, but they got the point somehow? Not sure.
Was a cool little game overall!
sounds and vibe hit hard!
I really love the vibe and atmosphere of this one. It oozes style. The character is really cool and he's animated super well. He really sells the whole vibe.
I'm not sure if it's because I"m running this on linux, but I had trouble selecting the modifiers. They didn't seem to respond to me clicking them I might have been missing something though.
This is really cool, well done!
The gameplay take on rock paper scissors is very fun, though I do feel like the multiplayer element is missing. I would love to be able to play this against some of my friends, trying to predict the next move of an algorithm just isn't the same as trying to get into the head of someone your playing against, but I get that that would prolly be a bit too much to finish in a gamejam..
Still, the visuals are insanely polished, the style and atmosphere are so fucking slick! You captured perfectly how I felt as a kid when pulling a finger gun (or some other bs) during rock paper scissors^^The visuals are next level! Gameplay is also very interesting, great job.
Stylish as fuck, love that. Also a cool and clever interpretation of rock-paper-scissors
cool game! i can 100% see the buckshot roulette vibes in here!
i do have to say though some weapons are more overpowered than others (smg nuke etc)
also the cutscenes take waay to long imo (for example getting new items takes a bit of time)
overall while there are some issues with this game id say that its pretty slick!
Fun! Cool vibes, too. I'm really curious how the AI works for this game. Do they just pick something at random, or do they pick something based on their modifiers + my modifiers?
This is a very nice combination of advanced rock paper scissors and Buckshot roulette! I quite liked it tho maby add the modifiers to the tutorial because I thought the gameplay at first didn't have them which felt a bit too simple and I also got what I assume is a glitch where the black text for the modifiers never dissapears. But overall it was quite nice and vibey!
Game looks great. Simple but fun game play. My only issue was the yellow text was sitting under the black bar of text, so I couldn't read it.
Love the vibes and presentation. There is probably a strategy to this but I didn’t manage to work it out. Perhaps I need to work on my poker face.
I am not lucky enough for this lol
Great atmosphere and tension with the environmental design. Rock Paper Scissors has never been so serious. 🔫🔪💣
The aesthetics are very cool, they made me feel uneasy, even though the concept originates from a game for children
It seems I'm not cut out to join S.L.I.C.K. though :(
The game is very slick though and you did a great job!
