How does your game represent "Slick"?
Your character is oiled up and sliding down the freeway, the world and controls are similarly SLIPPERY, or in other words, "slick".

Not only that, but you are accumulating style points at increasing speeds, making you STYLISH as well! In other words, you need to be "SLICK" to progress.

Really cool game! The overall look can be a bit overwhelming at times, but the mix of 3d and 2d creates a super cool effect, and it's quite stimulating for my simple monkey brain. Awesome job!

Dizzying but woah it's fun, there were some points where I struggled with depth perception though I got the hang of it. Runs way better if you download the game.

Developer

yup! thanks for the feedback, the depth scaling effect is definitely something id work on if i did a similar project. thank you so much for playing!!!!

I stopped after killing the challenger, it's deceptively fun! But as you're probably aware, there are performances issues building up with time :(

Developer

thanks for the feedback. to be honest, the web version was an afterthought i thought i would include for more accessibility. it wasnt tested really at all and ended up being broken and pretty un-performant. still tho, thanks for the feedback and thank you so much for playing!!!!!

Oh man. I tried to play it in browser and it struggled as I made it through. Beat it in what the game described as 378.18 seconds, but what reality would describe as like 1200 seconds probably, haha. At the end I was going about maybe 1 frame every two seconds.

The game is neat in concept, I feel like it probably would've run better downloaded, but I'll take my victory!

Very hard to tell depth most of the time, but entertaining nonetheless. People need to stop building factories in the middle of the road though, I'll tell ya what.

factory inc stops for no one

That was pretty good. To me the protagonist kinda looks like a weird bug

Developer

fair enough lol. the idea of the oiled up guy with a rocket didnt end up being communicated super well, but thats ok. thanks for playing!!!

Fast and chaotic!  I had trouble knowing what was going on a lot of the time, but it was still fun!

Developer

glad to hear you had a good time!! :D

Incredible, I got to 8km, the final challenger arrived, almost killed my PC and most definitely killed me. Amazing slick game <3

Developer

youre too kind, thank you so much!!

The speed effect is crazy, the 3d effect looking like an infinite zoom works very well for giving a sense of haste. I had a lot of fun playing it

all i want to hear from people, thank you so much for playing!!

Nice game. The feeling of dashing into the green crates and getting a combo felt really good. Think theres a lot of potential here! Thanks for the game

Developer

... and thank you for the comment and kind words! :)

cool concept! but 3d effect is a bit wonky, maybe it was on my end.

Seemed fun tho

Developer

nah tbh the 3d curve was a bit weird (i sorta improvised a distance->scale curve and this was my first time attempting a 3d effect). thanks for playing!!! means a lot!!

I couldn't get the game to work sadly :/

Really impressive 3D effect! The mechanics were a bit overwhelming to try and understand but the numbers and the juice were very satisfying.

Developer

im very proud of the juice, thank you so much for playing, means a lot :)
