I got stuck right off the bat lmao The pony rider didn't help
Hey, thanks for playing! If you are willing to give it another go, you could check this video out , it shows that the game is about routing however you like, this shows two ways you can beat the level, and btw these are not the fastest way, my brother got a consistent (its pretty easy once you find how) 8 second time on level1. And then you could practice the movement in the store
It’s too hard for me… but i enjoy the idea of buffing yourself roguelike style with slick movement!! So i think this is VERY promising and chill!
Well done, can’t wait to see the progress!
Thank you for playing and for the feedback!
at first i was really struggling, every time i fell through the world the game wouldn’t reset me, but after reading through your game page i understood. really appreciate the video help for guidance! after i was able to get to the shop i had ALOT more fun with the movement! i look forward to any future updates you all make to this game :)
Thanks! Happy you got the hang of it! But yeah I'd say after playing more of this version, just buffing some of the base stats and letting players replay the levels just from a menu instead of failing a time requirement would have boosted the enjoyment of the game. The team does want to keep working on the game, but now in a slower pace, with a far more refined version in mind.
The controls were a little hard to master, the wall runs were a little difficult to initiate. I fell through the floor on the first level several times, after reading your comment it is unfortunate you didn't have the volume setup for resetting the player. I can see promise in the game but as a "parkour" like game it definitely needs tighter controls and maybe an option to toggle the assistance the game gives (for the more garbage players), some time spent tightening those up and refining the look of the game and I feel we could have a speed running mirrors edge on our hands here. Great Work
Thanks for playing, and for the feedback! I could add easier vertical wallruns, right you can do them, but only by doing a slick 180 as soon as you hit the wall, but if I would add a streamlined version I think it would only benefit the gameplay.
I really like the music and the general vibe, but unfortunately it's very difficult to play. There doesn't seem to be a kill volume beneath the map and I keep falling off on the initial wall sides, which leads me to having to force-quit the game to try again. Is there any way to restart without having to fully quit the game? I'd really like to play it further but can't get past the tutorial :(
Hey, thanks for playing! Unfortunately on the first map, there is no landscape beneath, I was so sleep deprived by the end that I did not add a kill volume on it. But there is actually a few ways you can beat the first level. Doing the tutorial is actually the slowest way. Here is how you can skip the wallrun, and also an alt route, and those are not even the fastest ways to beat level1. You could practice how the movement works in the shop level.
Awesome, thanks I'll take another crack at it!
I was able to play it with your tip and it's great. With a bit of polish I could see this being a really popular speed running game!
Oh wow so glad you got the hang of it! And thank you for the kind words! We are planning to keep working on the game, on a slower pace though, and haha yeah definitely far more refined.
There's no download on the game page. I would try ask Ben/Sean on Disocrd if they could let you submit a little late if there was a technical error.
Thanks for noticing! Unprivated for whatever reason privated download!
