Wow this looks like a blast to play! Nailed the vibe with the layout, artwork, and adventure. You created so many unique locations and NPCs that really bring this adventure to life. Each location on the point crawl provides a lot of creative fuel for the GM to utilize. Excellent work.
Nailed the vibes! I love your artwork and your NPCs are fun, interesting, and well fleshed out (except for Guycott of course)! Seriously though, things like having Pavo have his infant son strapped to his chest is just fun and quirky. Great job!
You did everything I set out to do in my adventure but a million times better. Well done!
This absolutely rules. Great work.
Wow you crushed the retro aesthetic here! I wish the inspiration page was at the front so I could read it knowing the influences ahead of time though. I adore the npc portait and statblocks, so good. Layout is a bit too busy but the flow of the adventure is easy to get so that helps. The summit map designed to look like the level if it were a NES game is a stellar idea. Overall this is fantastic work!
You nailed the NES vibes here! I love the art and layout design too. It might be a bit busy on the Area description pages with the background and everything, but I love it. The setup is easy to understand, but everything absolutely oozes with personality!
Let me just call out a few of my favorite things.
Very fun! Very playable!
Thanks so much for the kind words, and taking the time for a thorough review!!
Great stuff! My laptop hates rendering this PDF for some reason, but it's not very large. It's weird, but if I'm patient it does load and looks great.
Oh weird. Thanks for the heads up. I did compress the PDF (the original file was pretty large) so maybe thats what is causing issues. Once the jam ends, I will try to fix it - I think some of the images I am using are too large.
I'm honestly amazed at how much information is presented while still looking amazing. Having the pixel art extend out to the layout and document as a whole was such a solid idea and really makes this an awesome piece of work.
