Inspiration: I think you utilized elements from Indiana Jones and Jeopardy really well! Rampage inspiration was a bit light since that only happens if the party fails, but I see that game being the hardest to implement. Maybe some puzzles where you break stuff?

Usability: The layout is good in the sense that nothing spills over to the next page. However it does feel claustrophobic and I had trouble reading some of the paragraphs. Especially ones where there's a lot of parentheses, underlines and bolding. For example the portal descriptions in area 1 kinda blend together when I look at it since there's little to no spacing between the bullet points. I'm also not a big fan of including statblocks or magic items in the room key since they make everything claustrophobic, but that's personal preference.

Vibes: Cool cover art! Having a Tarrasque there really piques a dnd nerd's interest. I like all the handout notes as they manage to deliver interesting lore in a very limited space. The indiana vibe is felt throughout. I'm not really getting many 8-bit vibes from the aesthetics, but that "save point" system with the trials is very video gamey. The sexy elves kinda stick out like a sore thumb in contrast to all the other art. (except in the cover)

I love the portal/nexus style gauntlet of trials! My only comment is that since this is designed for a one-shot, there enemies straight up immune to non-magical weapon attacks, but there are no magic weapons that can be found in the trials or a way to enchant any with all the magic devices around. Love the indiana jones hook, great adventure!

Hey, QuestForQuests! Thank you so much for taking the time to read through my adventure and give feedback. Really glad you enjoyed it!

Yes, you are 100% correct. The Temple Guardians being immune to damage from non-magical sources could be a big problem for a one-shot like this. After the jam is over, I'll go back in and decide how I want to handle that. Thanks for bringing it to my attention!

That was a wonderful read! You are a good writer and I was thoroughly taken in to the world you created. Looks like a fun game.

Inspiration: This is like the final act of a sixth Indiana Jones film, all ready to go. Eat your heart out, Spielberg. One inspirational nitpick: shouldn't the questions and answers in area 8 be reversed, Jeopardy!-style? (Not actually a nitpick--but it might be funny.)

Usability: Layout is great, I think this would be very easy to use at the table. I'm envious of your ability to fit so much material into a relatively concise word count.

Vibes: Really great puzzles and creative monsters. The map is a beaut.

Hey, Ghostwood! Thanks for taking the time to review and for the kind words! Someone actually suggested the name of the adventure should be: What is Indiana Ford and the Temple of Trials - missed opportunity for sure! lol

You could 100% write script for Harrison Ford, very authentic voice in the Indie’s Sending hand out. The trials are really fun! Well written and zany implementations will definitely keep the party and the GM on their toes. Shout out to the Shadows of Camelot plug, always be pushing books! Always great stuff from you Will, keep it up.

Great layout, with the one exception that chapter headings and creature entries look the same.
