How does your game represent "Slick"?
Oil slick dripping from a barrel can be used to light things on fire or destroy you.

the game itself was fun and an interesting take on platforming with the heat mechanic! i however managed to find a bug were hitting space and up arrow at the same time created a super job which forced my barrel off the screen never to be seen again but not ending the level requiring a manual restart. Its an easy bug to avoid and is not gamebreaking but i figured you would like to know :) great game!
this game's great, and i too can confirm that it makes you feel like a steel barrel of oil. i like the screen shake whenever you land, it really shows how much weight the player character (a steel barrel of oil) truly has. also i like the second level's solution it's pretty neat. my one singular gripe is that the player doesnt move with sideways moving platforms by themself but i dont know how to do anything in godot so i dunno how hard it is. plus, the game is still really fun and unique so who cares about one small thing!!! :D
The game is very short but has a lot of charm. Very cool that you gain more height with well timed jumps. I also have to admit that it has a pretty clever title.
My only issue was with how much it tanked my preformance, but I guess it’s due to the fluid and fire simulations, so it’s understandable. Even though it lagged on my device I still pushed through and managed to beat it.
The movement really makes you feel like a barrel full of oil. I was incredibly frustrated but equally determined to wrest control of this barrel and after an embarrassingly long bout of falling from level 1 like a baby chick from a nest, I finally got the hang of it. The solution to level 2 was very clever and really shows the potential of this concept! While short, the great presentation and level of juice in this game make it feel like a polished title. Great work!
Nice game. Nice presentation. It a little frustrating to my taste, it is ok though. Good job!
