i like this ! i like the kinda sorta dynamic between the two upgrades for your weapon (attack speed helping you take out big guys, attack duration helping you take out little guys) ! wish there was an end screen that shows your high score but given that this is a game jam game i can assume there wasn't the time for it. that aside, great job !!

For your first game jam, this is a wonderful submission! Very creative use of the theme. I highly recommend Masahiro Sakurai's YouTube channel (Director of the Super Smash Bros. series). It has videos covering almost every aspect of game design and development.

I like the idea to shoot at the feet of people instead of them. It is a very cool weapon idea and I can definitely see it with many different type of level !
