Zooming around with a rocket launcher is pretty slick
Thanks for playing
Very slick !! Can't get a lot slicker than a rocket jump ...
Thanks for playing
Pretty slick use of the bazooka, love the rocket wall jumping!
Thanks for playing
Very cool game. It took me a while to grasp the controls, but after that it was a very fun experience.
thanks for playing
Nice game! The rocket launcher felt great to use.
thanks for playing
Really cool concept! Got stuck on the second "jump" up unfortunately. The vertical rocket up just lacked easily repeatable actions, especially with how snapping the actual character controls are in terms of the rocket launcher, that made it feel impossible to get up even though I knew the idea of how to do so.
Thanks for playing.
> Got stuck on the second "jump" up unfortunately
Thanks for the feedback. Yes, I need to learn more about level design. I had to give a reward for making that jump and leave the main route somewhere else. The way to make that jump is to dash and using the rocket at your feet while dashing... and then impulse up with the wall.
Game development is a journey that apparently is going to take a while....
as a courtesy here is an image of my doing the jump
Cool idea. The combat and movement being used with the same mechanic is cool and creates interesting gameplay
Thanks for playing & thanks for the feedback.
Cool movement! Can really ramp up the speed which is nice! Had a lot of fun with it getting used to the momentum!
Thanks for playing
Unfortunately I couldn't get the rockets to fire with enough speed or consistency to actually experience the mechanics of the game or progress past the first obstacle - sometimes the rocket just wouldn't fire at all, or I couldn't spam them to get momentum. Overall there's a cool concept and I like the sound design and visuals
Thanks for playing and thanks for the feedback.
BTW. Yes I had to explain the player better that you can go higher if you hold fire and fire at your feet then use that momentum to impulse yourself higher. I will keep this in mind next time I make a game.
could use a bit of more tutorialisation, but wooooooooooooo spamming rockets and sliding away is a lot of fun. great job.
Thanks for playing
> could use a bit of more tutorialisation
Yes, more tutorialisation than a typical turorial hopefully. Thanks for the feedback
My favorite part was spamming rockets and really cruising around the rooms at the speed of light! Feels good schmoving around the badguys launching missiles haha
Thanks for playing
Managed to beat it. Cool idea with fun movement, really could have used some tutorial prompts telling you things like how you can hold to make the rocket jump go higher.
Thanks for playing
> Managed to beat it.
You are the first one who explicitly says it (XD). Thanks for the feedback. I had this thought process of making those challenges as the tutorial so once you pass the challenge you already know how things work.... I guess it is just to harsh. I hope to keep a balance in the future so I neither make a long tutorial with a long text not this challenge that was hard to beat. I will use barks next time. Unfortunately I did not have that much time to think about the level. Again, thanks for the feedback.
