Super polished game and I love all the silly sentences that can be created! Really enjoyed playing this game, one of my favorites thus far. Hope you will expand this with more whacky sentences and more ways to combo the phrases!
Thank you! I don't plan to expand on the game at this point, but if I do in the future I'll definitely be updating the combo system as well as adding some more levels.

Wow the levels of polish in this game is crazy! Also wild pull to reference/ build off of Oh Sir! The Insult Simulator."My salary needs some polish" was my favorite line I used haha. Nice job! :)
"My salary needs some polish" is a good way of saying "I need a raise" 😂
Oh Sir! was definitely a huge inspiration, I just tried to do the opposite where you compliment people (most of the time) instead of insult them.

This must have taken a lot of work. I love the wordplay for the title. The art is cute. It was a lot of fun to see what ridicuous sentences I could string together and how long I could keep the chain going. Great job!

The game environments and UI are super polished and professional-looking! The art style reminds me a lot of the Paper Mario games while also doing its own thing. The unique gameplay mechanics were also very engaging and fun to play around with. Overall, Jack B. Slick was a slick game to play through! :)

I love the idea here, very novel, I would've never thought of making a game like this! The ui is very polished, and the experience goes by pretty smoothly (except the one time I ran out of discards and had like five "and"s haha) (maybe instead of random cards there's a weighted distribution of some kind so a viable hand can always be played)

I did actually put in weighted distribution, but no matter how I set it there was a problem of some kind (that's why I added discards). I probably should have made the "ands" appear less though as it's still set fairly high. 😅

The gameplay wasn't the most complex or difficult, but honestly it was just really fun to find out what nonsensical sentences you could build with the cards in your hand! The differently themed levels helped to change things up, and the presentation is top notch!
Thanks! I was going for a more fun/silly game rather than trying to make a challenging one. Last year for Bigmode Jam I made a trivia game, so this year I wanted to try something a little different (although it still ended up being a card game which I wasn't planning on doing 😅).

Impressive dialogue system for such a short time! The art and overall presentation look great!
Making the dialog system definitely wasn't easy, and I'm glad my brother tested it before I published it as there was a bug when combining certain words that I quickly fixed.
