Adorable game! Loved the artwork and how each level seamlessly went into the next. Great job!
your art style made me happy. i also enjoyed the circular spacebar qte. cute lil platformer, well done :)
Really enjoyed this one! The animation work is super smooth — that menu screen dance is a great touch. There are a few rough edges here and there, but overall it's put together nicely. For me, the level design is where it really shines. The way the QTEs and platforming are woven together works great, and those gravity sections added a really cool spin on the core mechanics. Could be a little more forgiving in spots, though.
if you can please check out my entry I would appreciate that a lot.
did what it was suppose to do :) good little game.
Very fun game!! Love the platforming and the difficulty was just right! Love the QTE's!
This was a cool entry! The animations are really clean. I especially like the dance on the menu screen. There's some areas that could use polish, but it's a pretty clean entry. I think the strongest part is the level design. The qtes and platforming fit together really well, and the different sequences with gravity were a fun twist on the existing mechanics. Even if it's a bit too precise.
Thank you! The dance was one of the first things I made (even though I had no plans to use it, I just thought it'd be funny) so I'm glad you liked it! I'm glad you liked the level design too. Hopefully I can make it a bit less precise in the future. Thanks for playing!
Great idea about multifunctionality!
Reminded me a bit of Braid.
I wish some of the jumping was a little more friendly, but otherwise it's a solid game.
Thank you for the feedback! I've never heard of Braid, but I just checked it out and it looks really cool! Thanks for giving me another game to check out :D
A cool little game!
I wanted to play through all the levels but I got stuck after pressing the button.
Well done! :D
Thank you for playing up to the final level! I'm glad the game hooked you for that long :D (sorry about the last level though, it's pretty tricky)
The Simplicity and Ease of the platforming character immediately had me wanting to speed run this game. And was having a blast trying my best to speed through each level! But unfortunately i did find myself stuck and unable to get past one of the levels(the 6th or 7th one i think). Still Great game to play and Great Job!:)
Thanks for playing! I love it when my games are speedrunnable, so I'm glad you found it so. Sorry about the later levels, I can see how some of them can be pretty confusing or difficult. (hopefully I can work on that in the future!) Glad you enjoyed the rest of the game though :D
Nice cozy platformer!
I got stuck on level 6, but the audio and visuals worked together for a nice vibe while jumping on the beds.
Well done!
Sorry you had troubles with level 6. I tried making sure each level gradually got harder, but I can definitely see that some jump in difficulty a little more than others. Hopefully thats something I can learn from in my future games 🙏. I'm glad you enjoyed the other aspects of the game!
This is well done. So relaxing and fun to play. Would love to see this get past this round.
Thank you so much! The competition is fierce this year, so we'll have to see... 🫣
I couldn't get past the end sequence, there wasn't enough time for me to get past when the wave first starts. But I had fun up until then. The QTEs were good and fit in with the style of game. Well done.
Thank you for playing! Sorry the end was giving you trouble. It definitely needs adjustment, but I'm glad you found the rest of it fun!
I was missing a bit of cayote time. That would have been really nice for some of these precision sections. Especially for an unforgiving ending sequence.
I agree. Coyote time was something I added much later than I should have, so I didn't have the time to fine-tune it and give it a larger window. Hopefully in the future I can fix this. I appreciate the suggestion and thank you for playing! :D
Not a platformer game fan, but it seems well done.
Thank you for giving it a try! I appreciate the feedback.
This is awesome! Especially the end wave, I already had fun time getting into the end and experiencing all the quirky additions, but that part was peak game design. It's like a hard mode for those who enjoyed the journey but wished it was also stressful. I had a lot of fun.
Thank you so much for playing and for your feedback! I've always liked games with an unlockable "hard mode", so maybe that's where the inspiration came from. I knew it would be cool to be able to play the game backwards from the end, but I wanted it to be harder than just "do the same thing you just did but in reverse", so I thought it would be cool to add an evil red zone of death to race them back to the start. Anyways, I'm glad you found it as fun as I did!
This game was very satisfying to play and was definitely fun. Although at some points I found it too difficult. Well Done!
Thanks for the feedback! The difficulty is something I felt needed more work as well, but I never got the time. I'm glad you were able to enjoy parts of it anyways!
Well done game design, this was very engaging!
Thank you! I'm glad I was able to make something interesting.
increasing difficulty is a nice touch, but I couldn’t figure out how to escape the wave
Thanks for playing! I only had time to make "The Wave" on the last day of the jam, but even then I didn't have much free time. I ended up having to throw something together without being able to ensure it was super fair, so sorry about that. Thank you for giving it a chance, and I hope you enjoyed the rest of it!
