loved how you expanded on the previous round! The expedition QTE was lovely! Really enjoyed going on a journey and steering the ship!

From the little I played, I really thought it was very good. I'd love to be able to play more!

Unfortunately, I had to mute my PC's audio because the noise bothered me a lot. The first thing I tried was to find a way to turn it off or at least lower the volume of that effect, and to my surprise, even with music and SFX at zero, the only sound that didn't disappear was exactly that one! hahaha

Its probably just cause I'm not good at these types of games but I didn't like being able to move my spaceship, I was zooming all across the screen. I just started spinning in circles and hoping for the best...worked well sometimes actually lol. Loved the SFX and the simplicity of the game. It was really fun (and kinda hard) to play, very much enjoyed it.

Improved a lot since round 1!

I would look to something like NOVA Drift as an inspiration for how to make meaningful progression gates (a difficult boss is stopping my progress. I better get some upgrades so i can beat it!) instead of just throwing more enemies at the player, which does not give me a goal to work towards.

As for the current theme I struggle with seeing how you applied it. There was that minigame in expeditions, which I suppose could be seen as one. But I’m not really getting multifunctional level :/

I don’t see the offline aspect currently working, as the neat part about idle and incremental games is seeing number go up (mostly your currency but also other numbers). The time aspect serves the purpose of giving the increasing number meaning. You don’t have the crucial increasing number part of the experience here, which makes it fall a bit flat in that genre (unrelated, but i wanted to give the advice anyway ^^)

I liked the power-ups but perhaps they should be less frequent :b

Also please add friction/dampening to the player

Really like the boss idea. Makes sense actually 😬

No explanation on what you should do with the QTE is prob. gonna hurt you.  But it looks and reacts quite well to the input, and dont look like it have erractict random movements.

Otherwise it is a solid good game, keeps the player hooked with wanting to optimize their ships and progress furthers. You are golden if the next theme is asteroids.

Observations:
Having the "powerups" go to the top is confusing, thought i could pick them up a couple of times, would make a sidebar they could go to.

First run, the first asteroid i shoot screen, and the minerals came at me - thought it was enemies ^^, would make them fly to the top where the mineral icons are.

Thank you so much for the feedback, I really appreciate the good points! I like the minerals going up to stats, it makes sense, I will test that 👌

Great game!

It's a shame I didn't get to play it last round to see what exactly changed.

What counts as a QTE? Expeditions? If so, it's the most unique QTE I've ever seen!

this is very cool! its very polished and i love the sounds, tbh i dont really know what to add, i think it was fun, its seems fair enough, and i liked the qte's! cool game!

The powerups are such a good addition, hitting the 2X and the 360 spread at the same time feels amazing. Just one tiny note is that I mixed up the indicator of the powerup being active with an actual other powerup. (I thought I could pick up the indicator)
The QTEs feel quite good and not shoehorned in so well done with that.

Who doesn't love Asteroids?? Love the game!

This is a great game! The asteroids aspect is so clean, and all the power ups make it feel much better than the original. The only thing I was really hoping for was a bit more interactivity on the expeditions. I don't mind the qte thing, and it does fit the requirement, but expedition is such a cool name for something that comes down to pushing a button.  It's good as it is, just wish there was more.

Great job!

This is really fun, makes you want to improve your ship and develop strategies.

This was very fun with the power-ups you included! I loved that 2x could stack into a continuous laser beam.

I noticed that some customizations like combat vs aggressive AI module seemed like a straight-up improvement rather than trade-off.

I recommend a hint on whether abandoning a mission is better than being destroyed.

Good work!

Such nice improvements since round 1!

I really loved the slow-mo effect.

Well done! :D

Some good improvements from the last round with the collecting increasing the risk/reward choices. Always like your games.

I'm glad to see this one returning. It's really fun and the QTEs are a nice touch. My only critique is that it isn't really multifunctional.
