Loved this game. The art and feel is great and the music was as well. Well done!
simple and to the point! the mechanics tie up with the visuals very well so it feels very satisfying good job! are you a visual designer by the way? can't wait to see what youll come up with next.
if you can please check my entry I would appreciate it a lot
hey big vacuum studio! Thanks for your kind words!
Glad it feels nice, yes, the art is by me. Cheers for the support!
Will be playing your entry tonight on stream at 1830-2030 GMT. Let me know if you have a specific time preference, closer to 1830 or 2030.
thank you so much, stream whenever you want, just notify in discord :)
Once again I love your art and your play style along with the music!!!
Hey Hermes! Thank you for all the continuous support! <3
Damn your art skills are amazing! I'm super impressed!
I really like your unique take on the theme.
The atmosphere of the game feels great, I would love to have a whole factory with this vibe.
The gameplay was a bit hard to grasp at first but once I figured it out, I had fun.
Well done :D
thank you for dropping by Benim! Glad you enjoyed it, hope I can build this factory for you!
Yeah it seems my tutorial communication skills are super low, if Xanderwood made a tutorial round i would have failed by default 😅
Happy you had a good time at the end!
Really great art/sfx/music!
The tutorial was no help for me, but I was able to figure it out clicking on buttons until something happened and eventually win.
It gave me "How it's made" type vibes, pretty cool!
Cheers SLS! I definitely recommend the you have a listen to the artist, love his work ❤️
😅seems I botched the tutorial super bad hehe thanks for pulling through!
Found their youtube, some really cool beats there!
Some of the more ambient tracks aren't my jam, but remind me a little of Aphex Twin.
The art turned out amazing! But the uh UI and tutorial would have had me very confused if I had not tuned into the stream xD
In general i think this is an interesting concept for a minigame but it needs a lot of work and more ideas added to be a full game
hey SQLPY! Thank you so much for the constant support! love the "uh UI" part XD
100% it needs way more work and fixes, thanks again! Always enjoy comments that point out things that could be better so please (you and anyone reading this) hit more! It is such a valuable situation to learn from craftful devs, peers and players!
I managed to win :) though I have to admit, I’m still a bit confused on the how, the gameplay logic was a little tough for me to grasp even with the inclusion of a tutorial. I know it's about fractions and I guess I must have done them correctly. That said, the visuals are amazing as always! I especially loved the attention to detail with the cracks in the glass and the smooth animations. The actual timing for the tube placement at the start and doing the cuts feels really well-tuned for the QTE and I like the cat sound effects with it
Hey GameFavorites! Apologies for the confusion! Indeed, about fractions, but probably I could have done a better job (especially at the filling the liquid part) in making it a bit more connected. Thanks for sticking with it, and for all the love! (The cat SFX are what I had on hand, should have chosen more fitting glass SFX, but I guess am happy I managed to submit in time and even more happy you liked it!
I'm not sure why, but I don't have the music everyone else is talking about? The game itself was decent. It feels more like a minigame to some larger game, which isn't a bad thing at all. The visuals are amazing. The style is so smooth and interesting that I didn't even realize there wasn't music until I was reading the comments here. Great job!
hey p4songer! Thanks for all the support! This is indeed my whole aim, glad it feels nice! (hope to release a devlog in the next decade, will message you when its done XD)
So cool of you to ask! When loading the game (or pressing the M button a few times) there are 3 sliders. These (very mysteriously) change the Master/SFX/Background Music. Wanted the "Background" music" to be "hidden in the background" (I guess I over did it and it literally blended there). Here is the banger music, such an amazing artist :
Very cool style, I really loved the pixel art. I was thoroughly confused to start but it came together and I really enjoyed it.
hey xchino! Thanks for sticking with it! Glad it made sense and was enjoyable!
This is exactly what I was expecting from you this round. At first, I was wondering what the hell was going on but quickly figured it out and enjoyed playing until the end. Neat entry, cool art. Great job.
XD thanks for the truthful and detailed description hehe
Glad I was able to deliver! Thank you for the constant support!
Took me a good minute to understand what i was supposed to be doing but once I did had fun play it. The Art in this game was absolutely stunning, Amazing!, lots of juice and feel in the game to! Great Job!:)
wow JayTeaGibs!
Thanks for the love! Glad it made sense in the end and it looked juicy!
At first I had no idea what to do but I feel like figuring it out was a part of the fun. My first tube looked like a mess, but the second one was already better. This is a game that teaches you fractions, so count me in. Animations are so tasty too!
hey Minjutin! Thanks for dropping by! Glad you felt this way about learning through the process and also for the educational support!
<3 extra time was spend for crispy animations, glad a bit showed!
Very good looking game. Smooth animation and boppy music. The tutorial is a bit of a mess, but I got it at the second round. Probably you could have skipped it entirely.
thank you for the love (I'll share with the artist) but also for the insightful feedback rsreds! Indeed, I got caught up with "I MUST TUTORIAL!" that I didn't stop to see if it made any sense... and how I coded it, just moving forwards without any player agency, that was extra bad and annoying.
Thanks again!
I liked it simple but well-made.
Cheers shegi_4!
Took a while to draw it all, rushing for end-game "win/loss" scenes, happy it feels well-made!
mysterious gameplay
thanks kharalos! Still works in progress, hopefully in one day it will all make sense :)
That was fun!
I didn't understand why the first flask broke, but I filled the rest without any problems!
By the way, cracks sometimes fly off the flask when you grab it...
I liked that you can cut the flask in advance!
And how do I add my game to the list to play on stream? Where's the list ?
hey smartmagpie! Great to see you again!
Thanks for that bug! Indeed, it happened to my playtesting a few times, didn't focus on fixing it in time :|
hehe happy you found out the cheating cuts while scanning.
I will be playing the games of everyone that has commented on my games, so no worries about the list for now (after your comment I did add a link, sorry I had forgotten! https://forms.gle/C8tq33dVi28vnev68
Nice to see you too! I don't even know how I missed your first game at this jam! This one was a blast!
I'll be waiting for the stream!
Music was a real banger.
Did not understand why i had to cut the glass, seems like a really bad idea for something with liquid inside of it.
Filled all 6 and won the game.
Just wished there were more .. game
thank you CrudeForge both for now and for all the support during development and streaming!
thinning the glass makes it more cat-friendly (obviously XD)
Me and you both! Hope to have more time to make into a better game later hehe
Pretty solid game! Very simple but also a bit addictive. Cutting the glass was VERY satisfying when I actually got on time!
hey GoatBlob!
Thank you very much for checking it out! Glad it felt *glassy* hehe
