How does your game represent "Slick"?
Some of the definitions includes: shiny, glossy, smooth-running and silky. So we tried to give some of these qualities to the game. Using color-curves I was able to create a silky effect. There's a lot use of lights and refracting surfaces. I also experimented with soft-body, but ended up with something that feels like slimy, which isn't exactly "slick", but feels very "smooth-running" given a certain speed.

Music and sounds create such a chill vibe, and I would feel so bad whenever i lost one of my little orbs because i wasn't careful enough. Art direction is beautiful as well. This is becoming a fav of mine

Really cool environment - the art and sound design are killer. It did feel silky, the polish is really nice!

Good heck this was so good! The first thing that I noticed was the visuals. Not only do they look really pleasant, they're also quite consistent, which is very satisfying! I especially enjoy the rippled light effect, which added to the dreamlike feel of the entire game. The gameplay was really simple, but I still enjoyed it as most of the levels were pretty nicely put together, and the movement controller was... slick! I did find the last level to be a bit disorganised, and it was quite a simple game (there was much waiting, and I never felt at a huge risk), but I did beat the game, and enjoyed it greatly!

I love how this game looks, and the gameplay is really fun too.  The only thing I couldn't figure out was what to do when you get to the room full of stars.

Developer

thank you so much. The room of stars is called heaven and is the end, you can close the game when you get there, didn't have time to make a proper ending ;-;
