How does your game represent "Slick"?
In "Not So Slick," you must exercise your judgement in screening calls, proving (hopefully) to scam callers that they are not so slick.

Congratulations on your first game jam entry! I found the writing charming and thought this was a neat premise for the info-cross-checking subgenre. It's a shame about the controls in web, but the ability to set the mouse sensitivity in game helped to reduce issues with my own cursor interfering.

didnt notice the books were interactable and the mouse movement was annoying

You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain, and so I did.  Great game! Very funny dialogue and the gameplay is straightforward and easy to understand. I wish it was easier to play on web, but it was still fun.

The Windows95 type graphics really set this apart. also the background noise with the people talking really set the "office" mood.

Really interesting take on the 'Papers Please' genre! Given that 90%+ of the time my phone rings irl it's a scam of some kind I almost wish this were real :D

love the art and idea behind the game even if the controls got somewhat messed up by web. Great first gamejam!

Phew, still managed to get the good ending after forwarding the call for the guy that wanted to see if he could trade in his dog for games XD.

I loved the triumphant music on my success, so much oomph for such a mundane job. I liked the style of the game, I wish I could've drunk some coffee though, in true mind numbing job fashion.

I definitely didn't make this look very slick, I don't see a shining career in screening calls in my future! I found this to be an interesting interpretation of the theme and weirdly therapeutic? I managed to get 2 of the endings! I liked the art style everything felt cohesive good job guys! Extra Fun point for Beeg Yoshi <3

If you guys have the time I'd love to get some feedback on our submission !
