This game gets full 5-stars from me! This game has serious potential as a full game! It took me a second to get the movement, I probably took more time on the first level than the rest of the game combined, but that's because once it clicked, it clicked! Phenomenal job, y'all! Yarrr!
I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT THERE WAS A SECOND OIL-BASED RED HAIRED PIRATE TYPE GAME. I am bad at ranked games, bad at momentum platformers, but I LOVE this game. Shooting that blunderbuss is so much fun, and I absolutely love the music and various "Ahoys!" you get for doing epic flips. A couple times I timed my shots to the beat of the music and felt just that much more complete as a human being. This is FANTASTIC! Bravo!
This was one of the most pleasing visually games I have seen on the gamejam. I love the hand drawn look.

The movement mechanics are really slick! I loved chaining jumps and jumpshots.

The overall art style and movement of the game is great. I think it just needs a little more polish to tie it all together. Great game!
music and visuals are sooo fun. Movement was like almost slick as hell, just needed a bit more time, but I think t's really good for what it is.
Duuude the transition! So cool. Someone already mentioned it but big flapjack & paper mario vibes, & I enjoy the skill curve of having to turn & shoot mid-air to boost.
The wave transition and overall art style of the ship gives me Flapjack intro vibes its great! Also the sea shanty hip hop rendition, straight fire!!

This is by far one of my favorite artstyles, super fun and grimey. The mechanics felt really well thought out and the grading system made me want to keep retrying levels.
