I liked the sound design, and it was an interesting experience. I was a bit confused by the ending, not sure if there are multiple or what.
hello thanks a lot for playing I'm glad you enjoyed the game I left the ending confusing a bit on purpose no there's no multiple endings. Thanks a lot for playing the game and sorry for the late response.
I like how the repetitive gameplay adds to the overall story. Well done.
Thanks alot for playing I'm glad you like it :)
very atmospheric, the sound design and repeated tasks with increased difficulty added to a sense of hopelessness and unease. It's very tense and had me on the edge of my seat. the dream sequences were very liminal, and the suspense is just really well done.
It was an excelent game, i got kinda nausea effect with the last part with all of the effects!
I would make a little dot on the center of the screen to know where you are pointing at. Also add an effect to the interaction circles to know that you can interact with.
hey sorry for not responding thanks a lot for playing I did have a crosshair of sorts in the middle of the screen but I removed it I thought maybe it was too much I wasn't aware it'd give someone nausea effect my apologies
Nice game environment and soundtrack! I was unable to read the book from the player's bedroom, unfortunately... I pressed "E" and I could hear the sound of pages turning, but no page appeared. I got stuck on Dream 2 after the lights turned off. I will try it again later, I'm curious to see where it goes :)
Thanks a lot for playing and the feedback
did you play the web version or the downloadable version?
And yes I'm aware of the problem with the pages sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't so basically I butchered the code at some point in development and I'll have to make a post jam update for it to fix it because I'll have to re write the code for it I'll be making a gameplay video if the issue isn't resolved by then...
Thanks a lot again for playing the game friend I appreciate it!
hey uh I updated the game I managed to find the issue with the journals and hopefully they work now as for dream 2 I tried to fix it by lowering the fog density it was most likely that the fog obscured the last light source I tried to fix it so hopefully it'll work now... if you decide to give it another try please let me know what you think :)
thanks again for playing
Hey! I played the web version and I gave it a second run - everything worked well this time, appreciate your attention to this! Congrats on completing this game :)
Thanks a lot for playing glad everything worked well this time :)
I really liked the overall design. It’s quite simple, but the black and white style kept me on edge the whole time. It created a really tense atmosphere. The sound design was especially good, i still have chills, honestly.
I didn’t fully understand the story, but it definitely made me more anxious, haha.
As for small issues: at the very beginning there’s already a button saying that I found something, which confused me a bit. Also I noticed some slight stretching on an ultrawide monitor, but that’s a minor thing.
Overall I had a great experience.
hey dude thanks for playing and sorry for not responding...
I fixed the issue with the button showing up as for you not being able to understand the story lets say that I want it to be that way for now.
Thanks for the kind words I tend to focus too much on atmosphere and I'm glad you liked it you have no idea how much that makes me happy :)
