i liked your art. felt like my objective was unclear and it was pretty difficult. the qte was implemented well though. good job :)

Took a minute to figure out how to get passed the start screen. I'm using Firefox so that could have caused problems cutting off information. It was also kind of difficult. I do like the concept though, quite unique.

It was a good game, the art was good! The QTE was set up good, but it was pretty difficult to get up the first wall and then to just be smacked by the saw?

Submitted

The difficulty and the fun was a bit questionable, except that, it's fun yeah!

I couldn't figure out how to get past this screen in Firefox or Chrome:

Also, I recommend setting the resolution in your game's itch page settings to match the resolution you made the game in - the current settings make a huge gray block around your game window.

It is A/D to move through the options and x to start the game. Sorry about that.

Ahah, thank you!  The resolution looks good now too!

It's a cool ability system, but I was not able to get past the spinning blade no matter which ability I was using (I'm really not great at skill-intensive platformers, though).

My recommendation is to have jump bound to a separate key from the ability activation key, and maybe to slow or freeze time while trying to activate the QTE.

Good work!

It was challenging, but interesting. There's still room for improvement.

I liked that different abilities open up different paths, which is great.

This was a cool approach to the prompt! I love it when something simple gets an extra twist. Jumping as a qte is really fun to do. Like others have said, the level is incredibly hard. I got to where the three carrots are and couldn't get back there. That said, I think with some playtesting, and some re-working, this could be a really cool game! Great job.

I like your idea!

It was a bit hard in my opinion tho.

Well done :D

The mouse is so cute! The game was so hard to play sadly :(

Goodluck on the jam!

Well I am not good at this game. The idea is great hard to get used to jumps being delayed or useless. Interesting game.

The game feels a bit clunky, but the abilities are actually pretty good. Jumping was a little painful.

Special abilities are fun, I tried them all (the one that breaks blocks is the most fun, gravity is also funky original). While the movement feels a little clunky and makes the game quite hard, I think your level design was good and this is already better than your first game,  good job!

Cute little game, seemed very difficult for me.

Just tried it. It's A/D to select and X to play
