Its a hard choice deciding whether to shovel or to potato gun the giant bugs, both idea is equally rad :] Great work for a one week gamejam!

There's a certain vibe that comes from shooting aliens with a potato gun that I wouldn't trade away for anything.

This is absolutely solid. I would like to see more.

Loved this, really well made given the time, I liked how the combat felt and I absolutely love the setting, the gameplay is charming as well, also there is some replayability potential even with the limited creatures, I think I spent waay more time than I should on the planet just piling them up, felt pretty good knocking huge hordes of enemies... just a few things bothered me however, the melee attack is more or less useless, the gun is far to reliable to not use constantly, without any ammo constraint there is no reason the risk it in melee just for a bit of extra damage and cleave, you can plop scarecrows down and get cheeky melee hits in true, but gunning them down feels a bit better and safer, still, enjoyed the gameplay a lot, second, the music I feel could have been a tad more aggressive for a horde type game, nonetheless, I loved this, it's an awesome submission.

Thank you for your feedback! Your comments are helpful, and it really was worth limiting the ammunition capacity, as this would make the boxes more useful. For some reason, I didn't think of that myself.

This is really polished for the limited time.

Loved the setting: a farmer in space! the spacecraft, the main art, loved it! I didn't felt the need to use the gun, as we can just kite monsters using meele. Nonetheless, I AM HOMEEEEE

Fun game. Monsters reminded me Alien Shooter games. Also good mechanics like scare crow and loot box for them. It feels good to be HOME.

Developer(+1)

literally just reminded me on them, It was one of my favorite games in my childhood! Thanks for playing! And thanks for reminding me on that awesome game!

Thought I was gonna do some farming stuff, ended up just shooting bugs (Starship Troopers but with potato 3000 :))?). More contents would help the game alot. Good submission!

Developer(+1)

that means we nail the theme LOL. thanks for playing! we plans on adding more, stay tuned!

Thanks!

Nothing wrong with free assets, but man... The contrast between the visuals and UI is quite jarring lmao.  Pretty chill game, nothing bad stood out to me that much.  If you guys made the cover art, it was fricking fantastic

Developer

Thanks for your feedback, it means a lot!

did you mean specifically E button and enemy health bar? or ui in general?

do you have suggestion on how to make them look better?

Developer

Thank you for your feedback! We didn't use any free resources; we drew everything ourselves. Due to time constraints, it didn't turn out as well as it could have, and apparently this isn't my strong suit, but if we continue development, I will definitely fix everything. Thanks to you, I understand my weakness and will work on it!

Well the art is fantastic! The UI Just seems really simplistic compared to the rest of the games visuals, thats all

Good game. A bit melancholic, but that's good, just for the mood of game :)

Developer

Thank you!

The visuals are exquisite, a tractor as a spaceship looks great. Music is also good, I liked the soundtrack. Gameplay is monotous which is fine considering the time limit. It could definetely use some more upgrades and advancements. Good job!

Developer

Yeah,  we need more game content!

I would love to play an extened version of this, it has the basis for an incremental game. The art is super good, I had some problems spotting rocks on the surface but not a big deal. Great work!

Developer

Thanks for your comment! If we continue developing the game, we will definitely refine and fix everything!

Super impressive and solid groundwork for an ARPG you managed to make within a week. I enjoyed playing all the way through, and would happily play more if you made it.

Also, I feel like I need to mention the tractor spaceship. How fun and creative is that?!

Developer

Thank you! We did want to make a full game for this one. It all depends on the voting results!

Developer

Thank you! It's very nice to read such a review)
