One of my personal favorite entries in this jam, the gameplay is very creative. I drove my truck a little too fast the first few times and spilled everything lmao. The little flying grabber is just the best, I hope you are very proud of what you've accomplished. Lot of great potential if you continue to work on this, I'd love to see this expanded.

I LOVE THE ART OMPLEMENTATION ITS SO CUTE, howd you do it though (i wanna borrow it)

Developer

Thanks! It's pretty simple, just a Subviewport/SubviewportContainer with Texture filter set to Nearest + Stretch Shrink

It took me a bit longer to understand the controls and gameplay. The concept is fun and i like the models! Good job!

Developer

The controls and instructions for sure needed some more work but I'm glad you liked the concept, thanks!

Great work on this!

The artstyle is great, and I love the dispensers of all the things, especially the piglet dispenser.

The gameplay was also super fun, I'm a sucker for games with tactile control systems like this, and I had a lot of fun trying to line my truck up with the road so I could go as fast as I could backwards and launch the items into my farm area.

I think the game could benefit from some time-based expenses though, like farm rent or taxes or something, just so you're incentivized to work quickly, and manage your time.

But really fun game nonetheless! Really great work!

Thanks for playing! I'm glad you have fun with the physical controls! For sure time-based expenses would be a great addition, they just didn't make it in by the deadline, I'm working on adding rent/debt system now :)

Controls took a while to get use to, but the visuals are great

Thanks :)

Visuals: Simple

Audio: Chill

Gameplay: A really cool concept but damn are the controls rough. It's super ice skatey and makes it hard to enjoy. I'm okay with tough controls but this felt like it kept me from getting to enjoy the cool parts of the game.

Overall: Pretty decent. I'd say if you want it to be difficult make the truckbed be the issue. Make it hard to keep the animals in. but don't punish the player with bad controls for the vehicle. Maybe a snow day happens if you want that to happen, but the default being so floaty was rough.

Feel free to rate my game too. I would appreciate it a lot. <3

Developer

That's fair, it was my first time making a vehicle, I wish I could have spent more time refining the control before submitting but I'm working on an update now. Especially that the truckbed should be the physics challenge not the truck itself being floaty. Thanks for the feedback, Jago!

Controls feel choppy and it takes a while to get used to, but nothing one can't get used to. Very fun, I really like the lil piglets

Developer

Thanks for playing! I couldn't give the controls/instructions much work before submitting but I'm glad you figured it out!
