How does your game represent "Slick"?
You clean up oil slicks on the ocean. You can also do it in pretty slick ways.

This game has taught me that if there is another boat on the screen I WILL crash into it. Weirdly, I felt like I was playing high-speed, environmentally conscious, Go.

Cool mechanic! I like how the oil slick splits up if you crash into it which makes it more difficult to circle. Nice game!

The oil shader looks really nice! I was happy to find out I could split the oil spills into smaller sections, that was cool

I like the movement system.. nice and simple. Good job

I always enjoy true top down games, anyone willing to make one gets a win in my book.

I like the general feel of it, the one criticism I’ll add is that I feel like there should be a warning for when a boat is about to appear from offscreen. It happened more than once I got sniped while encircling a oil spill without any counterplay which can be a little frustrating.

Overallly a really solid experience. Very satisfying.

very cool! i really appreciate you putting out a fixed version for people with lower hz monitors :)

i do think that it could've benefited from using a timer, eg all rounds last 90 seconds, instead of going until you die like an arcade game (because the controls are so slippy most deaths end up being frustrating, "i almost had it" moments) and something to encourage longer play like a little campaign or score goals would go a long way too, because i feel like this would be super super cool and fun if you played long enough to get a feel for the controls, but there really isn't anything to incentivize that kind of play...

someone else in this comment section said to make it into a mobile game which isn't a bad idea at all.
