That sounds very odd. Certainly will look into that.

So you started the quest and how far did you progress? If your quest log is still accurate what does it say? Also if you have any other informations that may be relevant to that bug, please feel free to share.

scratch that I figured out what was happening after abandoning the save and fafing around the continent for an hour.

spent more time banging my head against a brick wall made of stubborn bees than I intended.  But the plant boss has been vanquished.  Thanks again for the quick response, AND for making such an awesome game!

For clarification, I didn't realize there were multiple potions you had to make.  So I made the amber potion, poured it on the flower from behind, queue screaming plant and duplicate boss fight with Fii's evil twin.
