fun loop of gathering and making orders while also lighting up the cafe. felt like i had a good flow going. plus the music was relaxing
some things i wouldve liked were:
1. being able to grab from both sides of the barista table as mentioned previously
2. some kind of map, instead of having to scour the whole space to find new customers. i get that that could utilize the limitation more but it feels a bit frustrating
3. some kind of end or goal. wasnt sure when the game would end so there werent really any stakes to keep me playing
keep it up, this is great for your second jam!
Thank you very much!
The feedback is very appreciated! :)
played this one a couple days ago and had so much fun i forgot to rate it great job i personally had a lot of fun with it i dont usually like these "cafe type" games but this one stuck out in my memory so i had to come back and rate it when i noticed i forgot for criticism the only thing i could think would be it would be nice if you could grab stuff from both sides of the table but you might have removed that on purpose which would make sense
Thank you very much!
Yeah I tried this with and without grabbing from both side of the counter. And opted for just one side because it felt more “realistic”. But I hear it from other players too that it would have been nice to grab item from both sides. So another lesson learned :)
Great game mann... It's pretty fun... Good work!!!
Thank you very much! :)
Nice game, it gets progressively harder, but after multiple fails, I finally managed to get a score of 155 lol. However not every customer gave candles or light boost for me at least, which makes the game harder in my opinion. But overall nice job!
Thank you very much! :)
It's very hard to see my customer in the dark, but overall a solid game. Nice job
Thank you very much! :)
The idea is so good! I was screaming when I started to lose my light :')
Thank you very much! And I feel you :D
Fun game mechanic, nice use of the limitation and I felt a genuine emotional reaction when my light started to go out!
Oh thank you very much for playing and for your feedback! :)
That cooking mechanic is really elegant from a game design perspective — you just bring the correct ingredients for the order, and there’s no need for extra interactions to check the recipe or actually prepare the dish.
It honestly made me want to add a similar mechanic to my own game 😄
Thank you very much! :)
Yeah since the player is already racing against time and darkness, I wanted to keep the coffee-making process as simple as possible. I'm glad you liked it :)
Nicely done!! Very cute and fun to move around in! I found it so hard to find my customers in the dark lol.
Thank you very much for playing! Glad you liked it :)
