To me, an original concept and vibe is the most fun and desirable part of a game jam, and this has it in spades, amazing work
One of the originalest games i have ever seen, it is a lot of fun trying all the different sounds and tracks to keep an increasingly harder to please audience entertained! It's a cool mechanic having only limited playbacks and needing to use them efficiently! Also the music is excellent, I love the one by Dabadee :) I hope this one gets streamed !
I love it
I liked getting the prompts and trying to follow them, and the songs and ads are funny (I wish there were more of them!). Fun concept, but 10 minutes felt pretty long to me, and I couldn't adjust my mic settings to be reasonable. Seems like a very fun game to stream though.
Oh also, love that 3D-looking UI. Very 2000s
At first I thought I was gaming the system by making Mr Bean noises on air, but then the prompts started rolling and I felt compelled to play my part! An extremely original entry, and one I hope to see taken further somehow! Honestly, this could become a great tool used in improv classes or something as is. Or it could be a Jackbox Party pack style competitive game where you have to improv yourself and convince your friends you're funny. Or a teammate could be feeding you notes/news/sound effects to help or hinder you and you have to improv around those. Thank you for the experience, and kudos for going all in on such an original concept and executing it so well!
Very awsome. This game makes you feel like you are on community radio
If I could put a 6 for originality I would! I originally thought I could just babble into the microphone for 10 minutes to beat it, but it's actually a resource management game. The premise is so creative and the songs and soundboard are really funny while also being interesting to manage! Definitely goes in my top 5!
The most unique game of the jam! :D
Wow what a unique concept! Super polished with the UI and the Noise Maker 3000 is super slick! Nice job! :)
masterpiece
I was having a really awkward time talking to myself, and then I blundered by yapping over the moment of silence and nuking 2,000 listeners.
10/10 I was not made for radio
This is a super creative game! Really fun and unique. Also the "slick" implementation was really fun. I was a little confused on what I should've been doing but I still give major props to how unique this concept is. Great game!
This was a really great time!! I'm sad it doesn't have more ratings; this is such an inventive concept, and I could honestly see it going much farther than just a simple jam game. As expected, I am very bad at coming up with things to say, even if it's only for a fictional audience. But I think that's part of the fun! I really can't think of much I would change or improve, other than just adding more content. Outstanding work!!
Amazing! A lot of work and love went into this game and you can really feel it!
It was a lot of fun trying to come up with stuff nobody's gonna listen to but myself, but I think that's the best part
The songs are top notch, especially "I'm blue" by Dabadee. It made me feel emotions I haven't felt in years
One of the most original and criminally underrated entries this year, we need to get the word out!
Excellent job!
Wow!! This is super creative! Great presentation and the songs made me laugh! But my word they are a very fickle radio audience! You can lose that audience so fast it gives a sense of mild panic at all times! I feel empathy all of a sudden for radio show hosts!
Only critique would be the moment of silence. I went from 1500 audience to 0 in 3 seconds and was so confused when I lost. 2nd time I knew it was coming and still lost 3/4 of my audience to it just cause of the bit of transition into and out of the event status. The event itself is really funny and a great shakeup! I'd just recommend giving some more buffer to react on that one.
This was hilarious, I found it pretty difficult to keep up with things to say and the moment of silence caught me off guard, I thought I could clutch with my 2 listeners but I didn't make it sadly. I really hope Dunkey plays this one, it's definitely a top 50 game for me in this jam.
If it's not too much to ask, would you mind checking up on my submission, maybe giving some feedback and a review? I didn't have time for an HTML port so I have suffered on not a lot of reviews and hits on my game. I would really appreciate it!
Thank you for the kind words! I've just played your game and really enjoyed it, I'm going to try and get my other team mates to play it as well!
Talking nonsense for 10 minutes is so much harder then it seems. Very cool idea.
This was so fun and original. Got me wanting to start my own drive time radio show.
You already know, Drabsville needs SlickBack on the airwaves!
Love the concept! I too completely blanked on how to talk as soon as I went live. “Moment of silence” bit was pretty funny. Hope this gets streamed.
Playtesting was a humbling experience !
The moment I went live I completely forgot how to speak, and told the worlds lamest jokes. Incredible social anxiety simulator, would play again! (Such a unique game idea, incredibly well excecated guys!)
