It is a neat idea, a solid effort for a game jam timeline, and the audio and visuals are fine. I think the gameplay can be polished a bit in terms of how concepts are introduced, to make it less punishing. Unsolicited advice to follow!

It is nice to use text ("did I see that move?") etc, but it so happens that the player can't actually do anything with jumping/swapping platforms on that first level, and may waste time trying to reach them (they seem _almost_ close enough) -- not realizing there's a screen to the right requiring the jumping.

I commend the evolving gameplay, but it comes a little too quickly, since the third screen also introduces the idea of three cycles to the platforms, and also added difficulty, since there are also enemies, and a  little stairstep in the way preventing you from jumping immediately when entering. This 3-cycle mechanic could wait for yet a later screen, perhaps, so the player is used to jumping a little more.

Finally, before I gave up was the level introducing the cycling platforms ("did I see those rotate?") because, again, you can't do anything with them until you go left back to the other screens. The help text should probably appear in the same screen where you can use it :)

Interesting concept, but far too punishing. Some weird decisions too - like, for example, adding a tutorial dialogue about the platforms shifting AFTER a section where you will have had to already work that out to reach? Would have been nice to get some kind of indication that you can jump on and bounce off of the enemies, too. I only found out by accident.

Love the idea of a cycling platformer tied to the jumps.

The guy who lunges at you was too tough to avoid for me, but I’m no good at platforming so that could be a skill issue lol.

Good work!

Clever design and trippy feeling! I had to put it down at some point because dying doesn’t reset you at the place you entered the screen in, but at a hard-coded location per screen. That means that due to a mistake on my part, I lost a bunch of progress by being respawned all the way down :/ But I looooove the vibes you’ve created here <3

Interesting idea and nice enemy designs!

I found the memorizing aspect to be a bit on the annoying side, I wonder if seeing an “onion skin” for the next platform placement or some other visual cues (like different platforms for each “frame” to help with remembering) would take away from the gameplay or make it better.

The ambiance and vibe in this game are very cool! Definitely has an eerie vibe. It was fun to learn the rotation of the platforms through trial and error, and the enemies didn't appear too much to be overwhelming. Overall, it was fun. Great game!

FYI for anyone else who can't run it- I use Linux and had problems on FF, but it works on Chrome.

I use Linux and wasm didn't work past the game start. I restarted the game and no change.
