How does your game represent "Slick"?
You play as the Sun's Daughter, using your flaming body to ride oil slicks!
You'll also feel pretty slick gliding through these levels B-)

My team's been hyping up this game so I had to try it lol, and honestly its worth the hype. The level design is incredibly well thought out, and level design for platformers is already such a challenge-especially when trying to find that balance between difficult and intuitive- honestly please high-five your level designers for me cause they did phenomenal!! I also like the unique take on how you introduced the mechanics, it work seamlessly with the gameplay and theming while not being a distraction, and of course the mechanics are dope. Every move feels like a well-timed strategy, and it gives me the same vibes as defeating a ds boss when i hit the sequence just right (very slick lol ๐) Also love the character designs!! the MC is so cute and I LOVE her hair, like she's such a cute design i want to draw her!! AND THE MUSIC ๐ฉ๐๐โจ feels like something I would stick in my playlists, really kept me hyped while playing
Fantastic work on everyone's part!! Even though I saw an eclipse, I feel like I got to embrace the sun ๐๐๐
Very clever platforming game! Had a fun time with great level design. Angsty phone calls with mom each level is slick! Profound experience.
A very creative game. I do enjoy a good puzzle platformer and the ending is very sweet.
Very fun movement. Great level design as well. Had a blast with this game. A few tricky areas, especially when trying to combine multiple items together, but it feels so good when you get it.
This felt like I was playing a quality SNES game in the best way possible! I'm impressed that you were able to make so many engaging levels with just the rocks and the oil can, even though I was hoping to see another item by the time the last few levels came around. Mechanics are fun and challenging, art and music area well done, and overall I had a lot of fun with this one. I love to see more of this in the future!
Such a cute, endearing game! All of the art, music, writing, and SFX were stellar, incredible work. I loved the gameplay as well, the mechanics worked well together and made you feel truly slick. I also liked the open ended nature of the handful of complex levels. Like I'm sure there are at least a half dozen ways to do that final level.
I was so scared the ending was going to be raining hellfire down upon the Earth, so the last screen was a lovely surprise <3 Well done, you should all be proud :)
Dang! This was soooo good! The platforming mechanics are on point, I finished the whole game without getting bored!
The little platforming mechanics feel pretty cool, like how you need to figure out how to save enough rocks or oil cans to complete the level. The rocks are a great way to show a bit of reasoning as to why you can do a double jump, whereas some games will just let you jump again in mid air, when the character isn't really jumping off of anything. The texts were also a cool motivation to keep playing through the game just to see what kinds of things the mother and daughter will say to each other. I'd say that some of the oil and rock mechanics could have a few adjustments to them, as there were multiple times when I tried to dash left with the oil but I went right instead. There's also some instances where I can accidentally throw a rock while trying to aim my oil dash. Aside from that I liked the game overall, great work! Also feel free to check out my team's game if you get a chance!
Neat platformer that really milked the mechanics it introduced. Quite a few genuine head-scratchers with a bunch of experimentation required to get the answer.
