This is awesome, there's a ton of potential here and it's already really far on! Could definitely see this going on to be a fully fleshed out and commercially released game. Everything is really well polished.

I also really love the simple and effective visual representation of the controls, sometimes that's all you need!

Really nice work, and congrats on the submission!

hey! i just played this and i really liked how unique the concept is. the idea of mixing a space shooter with building bridges between waves is definitely an ambitious and creative take on the theme. the weapon heat management adds some nice strategy and the sound design feels very clean and fits the arcade vibe perfectly. the customization is also on point!

it was a bit harder for me to fully get into the loop because of how fast everything happens and how the bridge building felt more like a progression mechanic rather than the core focus, but the polish you got into it in just 5 days is very impressive. you can definitely tell you have a lot of experience making games and it shows in the details.

congrats on the entry and for putting it all together!!

Awesome game, I like the variety in weapons and special abilities

This is a very cool game, the only thing I didn't understand is how the theme is used here.

Developer

Yeah uh theme connection is shaky at best. It's... mostly just a narrative and framing thing; I wanted to do more with the concept but didn't have time to polish it to standards I was happy with. Maybe in a post-jam update!

Hey, this game is truly something in the best way possible. Can't get enough of it! My only complaint is that I am not sure how it fits jams theme

Developer

I'll admit the theme connection is a little loose. Basically you build "hyperspace links" through the wormhole and it's more of a narrative connection than anything else. I wanted to do more with the concept but ultimately ran out of time. Really glad you enjoyed what's here though!

Don't know how I missed this one, but it's so good! The aesthetics and graphics are clean and the gameplay is super addicting. Great job! :D

Developer

Might have been because it was a late submission? Either way, I'm really glad you enjoyed! I'm honestly rooting for your game to win though because it's just so creative.

I genuinely couldn't put this down. Dodging around enemies is so fun, and really makes me feel like a spaceship pilot. (A dream of mine lol) It would be great if I could see enemies' health bars, so I'd know how close I was to destroying them!

I can't put it down helpppp

Great game! The feeling when you destroy an enemy is really satisfying!

Incredible. I liked the variety in weapon and ability options. I'm such a suck for retro styled games and this really feels like something pulled out of an arcade. Great work.

Awesome. Yeah, ambitious yet well done on the level of polish! The UI elements look great. The style is tied together well + sound + music. Gameplay feels good, and a good level of challenge.  Really excellent!

Thank you very much! I'm glad you enjoyed, your team's game is fantastic as well!
