Edit: For some reason, when I researched component factories, it unlocked colonies. Weird.

Really enjoying this game.
I'm on Ganymede, and there's no option to create colonies, only import androids. If this is an android-only terraforming project, that's cool, but it's going to require a lot of running in the background (AKA waiting).

This is b/c it takes 500k research to construct an android factory, which is going to take a long time at the present level of research (looks like it will top out around 1.5). 

Is this a feature, or a bug?

That should not be a problem.  Did you hide all your colony buildings?

If not, try taking a save and refreshing.  If you still can't build colony buildings, attach your save somewhere and send it to me and I'll hotfix it right away.
