How does the game fit the theme?
This game takes place in a very strange place. A blended world of cosmic horror, dystopian cities, and early-stage cyberpunk. This game is all about getting the hell out of there.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
The outline shader and water shader is from Flatkit.
The music is from Artlist.
SFX is from Zapsplat.

Ooh this reminded me of Heat: Pedal to the Metal board game I used to play. Like the idea behind this and gameplay is very satisfying. This was a game jam, but if you plan updating this in the future more cards would probably be good next thing. Good job! :)
A really good game! the card mechanics kept turns feeling fresh. I only managed 1 lap before i totalled my car. the art is gorgeous and really made the setting feel real. If there were more cards, maybe car repair or something that would be super cool. Good job!
Thank you so much! Agree 100%, definitely needed more cards/abilities to keep it fresh. Appreciate you playing!
Wow a turn-based racing game is some cool spin on the genres. I like it. Keep it up
Thank you!
Cool game,
I really liked the visuals. I struggled a bit to figure out the directions with the camera turning as I kept assuming it'll be based on where the camera is looking not the car. I think it would be nice to highlight the path the car would take based on a highlighted card.
Overall, I like the turn-card-based system to move. I think this would be an interesting idea to take further; It feels nicely polished and fun to play
Good job!
For sure, definitely some kinks here, but glad you enjoyed it!
Amazing visuals!
Thank you!
Took me a bit to figure out how to play(overlooked the tutorial by accident), but get hooked after understanding the mechanics. Never thought a car-themed game in turn-based format could be this fun!
Thank you so much for the feedback. Agree, we should definitely aim for a tutorial next time.
Really nice idea - enjoyed planning out my turns and felt super satisfying to chain together a perfect series of cards.
Definitely feels like an idea you coul take further!
Thank you! Appreciate you playing and leaving some feedback.
Great game a had a really good time playing it. Could you maybe rate my game?
Thank you!
funny name cards and a cool take on the theme!
Thank you!
Fun game! Liked the gameplay felt a bit like turn based/puzzle which is right up my alley.
Thank you! Ya, "Deckbuilding traversal" was kind of our way into it, but as we worked through it, it became harder and harder to make the vision come to life. Glad you had fun!
Cool concept but I struggled to visualise where the car would go, maybe a line showing what the car would do would be helpful?
For sure, that's great feedback. Definitely something we kicked around and the deadline kind of snuck up on us. Appreciate you playing!
Music is very good fit for the visuals, loved it. And neon looking things looks great)
Thank you! Appreciate you playing and leaving feedback!
cool idea! it wasnt immediately obvious what was and wasnt an obstacle, so maybe some tutorialisation would be nice for that. otherwise very cool idea and good execution. well done :)
Absolutely, this is great feedback. Definitely wish we would've had time to implement some better onboarding. Appreciate you playing!
Pretty good game. I liked it. I think it would be better if you could rotate the camera.
100% agree. The camera was a tough challenge here. Thanks for playing and leaving feedback!
love the environment
i got too confused by the cards
Thanks for playing! Definitely wish we could've built in a better tutorial/onboarding but the deadline snuck up on us. Thanks for the feedback.
the game was prettyu fun and it was reallly creative. The music stopped after like a minute for me and when i was behinfd a building, it was really hard to know where i was. Besides that, well done!
Thanks for taking the time to play! Oops, totally missed the music didn't loop. Good catch. The camera angles were definitely something we noodled with, and ran out of time before we really nailed it. Appreciate the feedback!
I really love the concept of this and the assets are so pretty and fit the scene well! I got away pretty well until i couldnt see my car anymore and had to guess where the walls are lol But it is quite fun and addicting
Thanks for the feedback! Totally agree with you on the camera angle. Definitely one of those things we were planning to tighten and ran out of time. Appreciate you playing!
