SYNOPSIS

As the years slowly march toward the end of the century, the world has turned into nothing but a sad husk of its former glory. The living conditions are too harsh and volatile. The human population has decreased substantially. And most importantly, of course, nobody wants to fucking work anymore.

Stuck in oblivion within time, there was no progress at all, except for one thing: technology.

Androids are at the helm of the new era, and the current projected release for the public is palpable. You are a human civil servant named Harley Liu, known formally as "EMPLOYEE NO. 20950001131", working tirelessly at The Bureau for measly pay as a means to an end. With Androids at the edge of replacing you and taking over your job, you work twice as hard to keep your standing and climb that corporate ladder.

But on the first snowfall of winter, you come home from the office to find a stranger, seemingly emitting a thrumming noise, resting on your bed.
