How does the game fit the theme?
The player goes to different planets with huge talking animals and no gravity (kinda strange, right? Really tried my best for this theme).
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
For the characters and tiles I used brakeys and Kenney assets, while for the background music I used Goose Ninja's space music pack.

Congratulations on completing your first game jam!
This was a competently made first game. The UFO mechanic is fun - although very hard (or maybe I am just bad at platformers). Do the UFOs sometimes change positions between deaths, or am I just gaslighting myself? 😁
For your next jam, have a look at things like jump buffering, coyote time, variable jump height, gravity curves etc. If you add them to your player object and make all the variables tweakable in the Godot inspector you'd have a polished 2D platformer player-controller that you can take with you from jam to jam!
This was a really cool first game!
I loved the UFO level a lot, although it was really difficult! It was really well done for this jams theme as well!
Perhaps in the future you could check the difficulties, and scale the text boxes down a little bit?
Other than that, This game was really enjoyable, and you did a great job!
Awesome first game! This like a start is super good. I enjoyed a lot playing, but some parts were really hard. Maybe I will suggest checking the difficulty a lot of times. Overall, good work!
Was thinking about adding that, but I ran out of time. Sorry about that!
Nice gameplay and what a smooth character movement, it really feel amazing and Designing part also good like Level Design.
Glad you liked so much of it
Nice first submission! It looks like you put a ton of work into this. I really enjoyed the cozy music and the main character was cute. I'd suggest increasing the window size (you can do this in itch), and keep the sprite sizes consistent scales. Good job!
Thank you for the comment!
The game felt pretty smooth and the levels with the UFO were pretty fun, however, I suggest you not to use spites with different scales, if you make a pixel art game, everything has to be pixel art, also, in the last level, the background looked pretty weird, I suggest you to just take an image and making it follow the camera, and I am pretty sure you could use a parallax background ( there are some tutorials on youtube on how to do it ), but for being your first game, I think it's pretty good, good job!
Thanks man, really appreciate it
