How does the game fit the theme?
The player navigates two characters, one in a familiar place and the other in an odd banana infested parallel reality. These two worlds each make up half a maze, with the player having to piece together odd puzzles to beat each level. Also, bananas.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Sound effects are from Envato

Very cool idea. I could not figure out how to get past the laser in lvl 2. I will have to give it another try. I liked the idea very much. Sometimes I was only looking at the right screen. I think this could be improved if we get more reasons to have to look at both screens. Very clever implementation good job!

Nice job for only 1 week ! It was pretty funny.

I liked the concept.  It literrally made me think twice before moving. And the levels design are nice. Some small slimes(or something to kill player) would be nice on the left side since I was paying attention on right side most of the time. Overall nice little game.

Cool game! I had a similar idea initially glad you went ahead and made it. Good job

Was able to finish both, the 2nd one took multiple tries tho, love this mechanic, reminds me of my entry to the 2021.1 game jam where I had two players in two worlds with inverted controls, glad you were able too add so much depth to it. Great job!

Nice game with a cool concept, but it doesn’t have enough bananas :-)

Great main mechanic, the only thing I missed was the fullscreen button, at first I almost didn't see anything from the game it was so small on my monitor. For me collecting trophies and putting them into their place did not really make sense to open a door, but I got it on the second try when I read all the instructions. I guess what I am trying to say is that it was really not obvious for me that you can open the door that way.

Nice puzzle, It would be helpful to have a brief tutorial at the begining to get started!

Maybe add sth impactful to express danger of banana & laser

it does not look dangerous but then I end on game over screen

Developer

that's a good idea, interactable and dangerous items dont indicate very well right now. i will think on it.

Loved the art and the concept! I couldn't really seem to make it too far haha but great game!

Developer

appreciate your support of our art! i made it easier to control the movement so maybe next time you can beat it!

Submitted

great uniqe idea. maybe make the movement a weeeee bit less sensitise. love it tho

Developer (1 edit)

thanks for the feedback! it was accidental that movement was continuous, bumped it to one tile movement per input, hopefully it is better now. cheers!

Fun little puzzle! One thing you can improve is to make clear what obstacles kill you and what don't. I thought the bananna peel would, for instance.
