I was waiting for something to jumpscare the F*ck out of me so much xD. It fits the theme pretty well. Good job.

Developer

lol

I don’t really like to use jumpscares as I think they will break the feeling of a game if done wrong.

Cool game. The visual effects and post processing were very nice. The mechanics were rather simple but still engaging. Audio fit very well too. I expected a bit more of a narrative focus in the gameplay as well.

Developer

Thank you!

I really like the VHS vibe. The gameplay is also very interesting. Great work :)

Developer

I feel touched by all this support! Thank you

Very good game here, really interesting platforming puzzles and aesthetic! The music gets a little too repetitive a little too early, but overall, I enjoyed it a lot.

Developer

thank you! If I knew how big this game would be I would’ve worked more on the music <3

This was a cool game! The effects were cool and I really liked the transition thing you did between the levels, though the sensitivity was really strong but I don't know if that was just a me thing or not

Developer

nope not only you, I set the sensitivity strong because I was testing on a trackpad and I didn’t account for mouse, there’s a sensitivity setting too

Nice music and great shader, it fits the theme really well.

Developer

thank you!

The game fits the theme perfectly, and the CRT effect makes it so immersive. Great work!

Developer

thank you so much!

Those trees scare me... good lil platformer!

Developer

one of the only things I 3d modelled myself lol

Submitted(+1)

Wow, what a trippy 3D platformer! Thank you for the generous colliders made the jumping more predictable.. and the atmosphere was really unique! Well done!

Developer

thank you! I tried not to make the game too hard as I knew most players will just want to quickly play the game rate then move on!

Submitted(+1)

The game is short but special

Developer

that’s sweet! The making was also special for me as it was the first time I switched engines

Developer

(godot 3x to godot 4x feels like completely new worlds)

atmosphere chef's kiss, the VHS vibe is really cool

Developer

thank you!

Submitted(+1)

that was a pretty interesting game, it's good to see more games made in godot, great job!

Developer

thank you so much! I absolutely love godot as I used to use unity and it was pretty good but in my opinion I can get games finished and more polished in godot!

music could be a little more interesting

Developer

yeah, self composing means the music would probably not be top notch, I found it hard to make music for this style of game as it can’t be too grand which is pretty hard. Hopefully you still enjoyed playing tho!

I did
Contact me when you gonna need an ost for your next game. Would be glad to assist.

Developer

thank you! I will keep that in mind

I liked the transitions to the next level where the ground seemed to come up (or maybe the level dropped through the ground). Music fit the vibe too! Definitely strange but satisfying walking game! Great submission.

Developer

thank you! Spend a lot of time perfecting the transitions

Nice little CRT liminal walking sim, good entry!

Developer

thank you! Somehow my best walking sim so far

Submitted(+1)

So cool, loved the liminal vibes! The CRT effect was a little eye-strainy but you get used to it after a bit. Great game : )

Developer

lol that's good to hear! thank you

Gave me real good strangey vibes

Developer

yay, I can officially call myself Dr Strange now

I like the VHS tape effect and that you added a bit of story to the game at the beginning. That game it personality. One suggestion I might have is that the camera was extremely sensitive in relation to the characters movement speed, and maybe those could be tuned to feel more in sync with each other.

Developer

yeah, I added a sensitivity slider in game to fix that! its in settings

Submitted(+1)

This game has a weird feeling about it, I suppose that is intentional. The game is very short, but I liked it. The VHS shader was well-done, but it was hard to see the platforms. Overall this game is promising, could be made into a release.

Developer

thank you! If the platforms are hard to see there’s a setting I added to fix that! It’s on main page in settings the “light mode” and “graphics quality” as light mode high will make platforms brighter by a bit and graphics medium will remove the VHS shader if it’s still hard to see!

Submitted(+1)

Ohh I didn't know the light mode setting changed that! Thank you

Developer

:)
