How does the game fit the theme?
Game-over Layover starts in a normal airport, but things quickly get weird. As you go through security, the waiting area, boarding, and the plane, each place becomes stranger and stranger. The mini-games show that even everyday places can turn into crazy, surprising worlds.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Main character was a downloaded asset as well as some SFX.

That was super fun! Very reminiscent of Wario Ware games in the best way! So many stressful yet fun minigames. I would love to see a full version with even more crazy games! The art and audio were great too. Excellent job!

Wow this was really cool! I absolutely loved the mini games! Sometimes I'd miss my flight within seconds of the scene starting up but that's okay, I probably deserved it xD lol. I really enjoyed this. Super unique game and was funny as well. Great work!
Okay, the quality of this one is really superb. Airport being sort of a liminal space is a theme that strikes close to home. Minigames are all very fitting thematically AND fun. The life mechanic is interesting and offers kind of a risk-reward I did not expect from a Wario-ware kind of game. Truly magnificent game, top marks for you!
Very nice job with this! It was very fun, the music fit perfectly, and the visuals where very good. It was nice seeing them change over time. My only two problems is that the text at the beginning is a bit too fast, and I struggled a lot with the 'find your seat' minigame as I couldn't read it fast enough before running into something. Otherwise, great job!!
Wow, really nice job on this one. I enjoyed it a ton. I love Wario Ware kind of games and I'm happy there are devs out there making some more of that! I also liked that there was a story inbetween the minigames, that was a nice touch. Thanks :)
Okay i was not expecting a warioware style game and this relates to me so well because I have a flight to catch tomorrow morning at like 7am. At first I thought yea im gonna breeze through this especially when extra lives are given out from time to time, and then additional modifiers came in to prove me wrong. The only minigame i couldnt really figure out in the amount of time i needed to do it was the one with the shadows
let's hope you don't land in a strange airport, at least that :))
