How does the game fit the theme?
The entire game takes place in a nightmare realm, a world between dimensions that absorbs fragments of other universes. Nothing follows normal rules there.
Even the creatures that appear are out of place (pandas from Pandaria !). It is literally a strange place.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
- Character: xzany (Top Down Adventurer)
- Portal: Pixelnauta (Pixel Dimensional Portal)
- Tileset: Rafael Matos & Cainos (Pixel Art Top Down)
- UI/Icons: CupNooble (Sprout Lands UI Pack)
- Sound: Gif Music Bundle
Godot 4.6

Lovely game - i liked the transition between day and night and the countdown is a good idea. Nice music too !
The music and sfx are nice, does feel like having 8 sided movement instead of 4 sided would have been better, 4 sided is a bit too restrictive for my liking in this style of game
- Crow & Moth
The visuals in this were beautiful. The pixer art is top tier, everything feels cohesive and atmospheric. The creatures being from Pandoria....and being pandas, was funny lol. Such a lovely contrast to a nightmare theme.
The nighttime gameplay loop of managing multiple rifts while fending off pandas was tense. I like the pressure of needing 4 crystals per portal.
The main menu presentation felt very classic and polished, and the opening music honestly gave me the feeling of stepping into Breath of the Wild for the first time. Really nicely balanced audio throughout the game as well.
Well done, this is a very clean, great-looking entry with strong atmosphere and solid mechanics.
I think overall that it's a good project for one week, but controls feels a bit clanky. Anyway good job for one week !
Very short but sweet. Controls felt quite robotic for this style of game, but the visuals, sounds and story/world building were all really nice to see. Great job!
Very strange world indeed - I liked the humor and felt like you did a good job leaning into the theme. Good choice of music and sfx to give the pandas a creepy vibe. I also need to learn how you did the lighting in Godot.
I think the movement felt a little jittery (or the camera) at times when playing full screen, but when I played with a smaller window, things felt fine
Also the intro with the music made me lol
Nice entry. I like the story and the worldbuiding/lore.
Nice universe and atmosphere.
It felt a bit short, but there’s definitely potential there.
Beau travail ! 💚
Great game. I loved the theme and world you created. Strange but somehow friendly.
Really nice work, captivating gameplay. The day and night transition is really well arranged as I agree with other commends about it.
Good work. It was over far too quickly as i managed to do it all in a single night but still very enjoyable.
It was really fun! Loved the sound design, the sound choices were on spot. The gameplay feels great :)
That was a really fun game! I think it has a lot of potential to be expanded
Really fun. I like slashing pandas. It's my kind of game - I'd have enjoyed more levels.
Would love your opinion on my game - I probably also need to make my world bigger .
this is nice and cute game. pandas are cute
I really love how smooth the day-to-night transition is
Good game, I enjoyed the music and the visuals. The world building was great but it was too short with only one level, I'd have liked to play more.
I also completely forgot you could attack, and just managed to dodge around the pandas! The controls felt a bit off too, only being able to move in four directions and some of them overriding others (left right overriding up down).
music and art was banger! i really liked the intro and the world we get put into. it felt like a real adventure! very cool idea! gg
I really had a great time with this little story. The gameplay is easy to pick up, the visuals are charming, and the audio is very pleasant. I honestly would have loved a bit more of it :)
Et le made in France à la fin 😄🚀
