The camera view is frustrating & performance is pretty bad..

Just tried the game today. First I noticed the performance is pretty bad. I have more than the recommended specs, but I only get 34 fps no matter what I change in the settings. The game needs a lot more optimization, it shouldn't run this bad with such an empty scene.

The atmosphere seems great though and it really reminds me of that girl in a tank anime, although all I did was drive over the hill and then I quit, due to the bad performance and the frustrating camera view.

Speaking of the camera: The tank blocks too much of the screen view and the low camera position makes it very frustration to drive, as I can never clearly see where I am driving towards ... I am either looking downward or my view is blocked.
It's equally frustrating to grab items, even though I really love the idea of collecting stuff this way and the tank trunk is a really cute idea.

It's somewhat better when I zoom out fully, but then the atmosphere of driving the little tank isn't as immersive anymore and grabbing items is even more frustrating.

The camera position should be placed above the tank, so I can clearly look forward even when in the normal near view. And optimally we should have a keybind to move the camera higher & lower.

I hope the performance issue can be addressed and the camera view can be moved, as the concept is really intruiging and the atmosphere seems great. So it makes me sad I can't really play it. :(

PS: Also please an option to turn off motion-blur. And a different non-physics cargo system maybe, already my first item I grab immediately jumped off into space as soon as a started moving, which is funny but only once.

Idk which version you're playing, but you can zoom in and out with scroll wheel to a pretty generous distance, to the point where the camera doesn't pick up the tank's ambient sounds. I had no problems with performance, but maybe try lowering the graphics and see if that helps?
I honestly can't see where you're coming from. The physics are core to the gameplay, and I didn't have any motion blur.

The greatest source of performance impact has been the Snow height detail. I set that to potato and had a lot better experience there. Any motion blur is probably also tied to the Anti-Aliasing; I disabled it mostly because I think the edges actually add to the game's art style, and it's been nice and stable since.
