Really fun and polished game! The deckbuilding + dice mechanic is super clever and keeps each fight interesting. Visuals and UI are clean, and the game loop is addictive. Overall great work!

Super well-polished game! I'm surprised to see you were just a solo developer on this one, well done!
I think the concept is really cool, it's quite innovative to combine deckbuilding and dice throwing - it feels like something that should have existed for ages but this is the first time I've seen that mechanic. It's a double dose of randomness but never felt unfair.
There was a bit of confusion at first. I wasn't sure what to do when clicking on cards and clicking on dice didn't do anything, then read the description to see that dice need to be dragged onto compatible cards to play. An in-game instruction there would've been great. It also wasn't clear at first whose health/stats were whose, as there's no visual distinction between the opponent's health and mine. Last critique: my fight with the Leech felt a bit too long, I think they got lucky with high d20 rolls that took me a while to chip away at their health.
Overall, though, this really impressed me! Very nice work!
Nice game, I liked building my deck engines and dealing a whole bunch of damage in a turn
Neat roguelike deckbuilder. I will say that the balancing is off, and my very first encounter was against a really lucky leach which didn't help. The UI is really polished, but I would like to know some more information during battle, such as what the enemy can do before they roll (may have missed this if it already exists), a way to see what cards are in my deck, and what is in the discard. Enjoyable experience, but a little tedious, Well done!
A really clean entry - reminds me a lot of Dicey Dungeons.
Super well presented with a lot of character and great fun to play. Overall really good job
I did encounter one bug with the Spatula card - it said it would draw (didn't have the icon), but it never seemed to actually do it.
I loved the mechanic here, it was a nice strategy-lite game good for a jam game, plus I could easily see giving the player more upgrades/control to increase complexity and keep the loop going. I also liked the enemy variety.
My first fight was against a leach with no upgrades. That one fight by itself took 15 minutes. John Deckbuilder does not approve 😠
Anyways the idea is pretty good but I'm not a big fan of gambling deckbuilders. There's way too much RNG most of the time so it feels like an auto scroller without much strategy and that applies here too. Just adding more options for the player to do while its their turn usually helps with this problem; stuff like consumables, being able to draw additional cards from your deck, discarding, replacing, rerolling etc.
Not being able to see the enemy's attacks while its my turn is kinda a bummer although even if I knew, I couldn't really do anything against them since it's all just RNG again. A cool idea could be to have a way to modify the enemy's rolls or ability ranges.
I played till the start of 2/3. Overall still a cool little game!
Great submission and very clean and consistent design. I could feel the polish on this one. I do think a tutorial or more clear instructions would've helped understand how to play, but everything else was great!
Very Impressive game, I was addicted to the gambling mechanic of this game. 🎰🎰
Yeah that was planned, that's why the final stage looks different :D
If you're curious about the boss I'd planned, it was this:
Dryad Queen.
Innate: Poison heals Dryad Queen instead.
>19: Drain the opponent by the amount of poison on self.
>15: Double own poison.
>10: Poison self by the counter value.
>2: Poison self and increase the counter.
Really impressive work for a jam game! Enjoyed the clean visuals and the game loop. Great work
The gameplay is really fun and the UI is super clean. The background music is great too. I got hooked on the gameply loop. I could play a full game of this! Also 10/10 for the Invincible reference.
Had really fun with this, really like the concept! It felt super polished as well.
I like the graphics and the way you need a certain number on the dice roll to use specific cards. The tutorial was clear and simple, easy to understand.
Every time an enemy attacked I couldn't always read what the enemy was doing, because the information disappeared too quickly.
I think there should be a limit to how many times you can use certain cards and also maybe have a currency, so the player will have to choose what cards to spend it on. (Just a suggestion)
Overall a cool idea which fits the theme nicely.
Really liked the game, very impressive for a 1 week jam (hell even for a longer).
Very clean art, smooth music. I can see myself trying to build a good deck and an op combo.
The fights feel a bit long for me but the cards are interesting. Looking forward to trying out the extra challanges!
Loved this game's concept and thought the animations are smooth and the gameplay felt nice. I wish i had something on the screen telling me that i had to drag the die into the card. this is a very thoughtful game and the graphics were stunning!
