How does the game fit the theme?
The game fits with the theme because you create your own worlds by dragging tiles to the grid, but it also has a twist at the end making you explore and conquer the strange and corrupted world.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
The only assets I borrowed were sound effects and music, which are properly credited within the game's page.
How many people worked on the game?1

I liked the idea a lot, but I felt like my placements didn't seem to actually change the world that much. One other thing I might add is being able to use a mouse or the number buttons for inventory slots. Overall cool game!
I like the idea, although I didn't really know what the different grid combinations changed. I never really found myself having to be very creative with the placements. But I still its cool, it could just use some adjustments.
Thanks for the feedback! I don't blame you, I also struggled but I just wanted to get something finished for once. Hopefully I'll spend more time on polish next game I make!
Very Fun concept. Took me a second to understand the tile placement mechanic but once I understood I really liked the idea.
I must say, I couldn't find any logs, or anything to break actually, which is a bummer. The visuals are cool, I like this little art style.
Yeah, that was an issue for a lot of people and I regret not explaining it more. Just so I know for the future, were you not able to find any trees in the world or did you not understand that you needed to place tiles in the grid. I don't mean it in any way, I just want to know where I went wrong in my game's design and what to keep in mind next time.
Very interesting concept, the music is nice and I see what you were going for, if I had to suggest something it'd probably be that the effect of the tile grid on the world is not all too apparent, but maybe I just didn't play around with it for long enough
Thanks for the suggestion! I was back and forth on the world generation as I worked on the game so it's definitely not very polished and probably doesn't fit with some of the game's aspects. I'll keep that in mind for the next game I make.

Tilemap concept is awesome and had a lot of fun experimenting with it. Really curious to see how you could refine it with more details on what the advantages are for each tile, why certain ones might be better to have next to each other etc. Think you're on to something really fun!
Thanks!
Lovely game concept!
I love the concept, I think it's fun, but I haven't been able to find any logs i'm stuck on the first level
That's strange, are you not getting logs after chopping down a tree?
