How does the game fit the theme?
Spoilers: The world is not what it seems when you zoom out.. need to make it to the end of the game to see.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Re-used some of my code from a previous jam project. Although now that the jam is over, I realize I shouldn't have because it only caused more problems.
How many people worked on the game?1

I'll bookmark it as inspiration, it's a great idea that deserves to be push further, keep working on it :)
Very cool concept, very innovative. congratz on making a game!
Very cool concept! I see that you weren't able to fix all the bugs in time or improve processing speed, but I'm eager to come back to this once those are fixed! ^^
Very interesting concept! I'm curious to see what it's like with the planned updates!
very unique concept, I was very surprised to see the end ha ha! good work!
Interesting concept. Would have liked something more happening to occue or the level to shorter.
cool small game, and great icon design!
Really cool idea! It does get a bit grindy after a while, but i still had a good time playing. The low framerate for moving does feel a bit weird. I think boosting that to keep it at 30/60 would add a lot to the feel. Other than that I had a great time!
I like the tile aesthetic and it was fun getting the explorers and gaining numbers quicker and quicker, gave a similar feeling to cookie clicker!! I get you had to reduce the scope but it would be cool if there were more stuff you could do whilst moving like you encounter a trader or something who trades gold tiles you collected for an explorer, all the stuff you said you are gonna add in updates looks cool too so that is exciting!!! I got to 100% and genuinely that zoom out put a big smile on my face, I was not expecting it lol!! I look forward to seeing this games progress, good job!!!! :)
Thank you, it’s comments like this that make manually placing every tile worth it :”)
I wish I had more time to make the game fun so that more people get to the ending. Unfortunately I’m not planning to include that easter egg in the updated version
Cool exploration aspect of it. Was my explorer companion supposed to be going 100 mph?
The explorers are totally bugged out and ignoring my movement speed limits. They’re super sassy and don’t like to behave (I didn’t add them until last minute).
The concept here is really cool but I think the "difficulty" scaling could be improved a bit since the early game is so slow. But I can't lie watching number go up is very fun so I grinded out a bunch of it while doing other things. With the planned updates that you have I feel like this could go really crazy! Good Work!
Really like incremental genre so I had to try it, the concept is really innovative, I didn’t find any other game having exploration by cell in incremental genre so this is a great first point
The concept of having visual progress when exploring cell is very smart, this is definitely a nice hook in incremental / idle type of game, it starts slow but grows rapidly quite fast, needs balance of course (and you didn’t have time to finish which is very sad)
I definitely see a shop implemented to spend the cells currencies spent in order to buy explorers or improve them
It’s a bit sad to not see the explorers themselves (except for the pink dot ?), those were a bit buggy I think too ? The sea cell were growing really fast and the others quite slow, I think I had some performances issues because of that (playing on browser / chrome / Mac OS )
I definitely see this game in a full incremental game with polish / more mechanics, it was quite addicting in this state to play so with more balance / shop / mechanics this would be a blast to play and see how the map reveal itself
I encourage you to « explore » (pun intended) more into the concept because I didn’t find anything close to it yet (playing a lot of them, but maybe I’m blind lol), this merits more time invested 👍
Great concept, love the genre, cool game, well done!
Bonus point for the Kermit at the end, nice touch LMAO
Thanks for all the great feedback! I was originally planning to have resources be generated based on the tiles you’ve explored (e.g. wood from forest tiles), which could be used to purchase upgrades from a shop. It adds another idle element and will hopefully make player choice more meaningful in terms of choosing which direction to explore. It’s one of the many things I cut in order to reduce scope.
The explorers were very buggy and unfinished, but without them the world would have taken way too long to explore. I had to throw them in last minute to have any hope of anyone making it to the end. They won’t be pink dots for long :”)
I’ve got so many ideas planned for how this game could grow and unfold, so I’m glad you see the potential too. I’m already working on the next update!
I played for a bit, and didn't get to the end. I feel like it started very slow and it wasn't obvious where to go but I Love the overarching idea. (sorry you weren't able to finish)
Thanks for playing. I knew most people wouldn’t make it to the end, but I’m working on an update that will hopefully make it more satisfying to explore and progress. I may not have finished it during the jam, but I am determined to keep working on it :”)
very nice! B)
