Fun roguelike, solid execution in my opinion, specially in the short time we had.
The art style is nice, I like the mouse effect shader that you implemented on the start menu!
I noticed too that mobs seem to disappear on few occasions, but nothing too concerning.

Great job!

Fun to play and great art style! As others have mentioned, the upgrade menu is easy to miss and some kind of ending would have been nice, but overall great entry!

Nice game! I particularly liked the art direction. the upgrade screens give it some good progression & makes you wanna carry on playing

Was a bit confused by the aiming system (the stick didnt seem to be aimed at the direction of the mouse?) Also had a few bugs with enemies disappearing

Hey this is a really great game!

I was a bit confused when I started cause I thought we have to climb up in this game but we start going down. But I just kept going and progressing.
Art and effects are pretty cool and nicely polished. And the perks were great, but I kept getting only attack speed after a certain point.

There were a few bugs at times when the enemies would randomly disappeared and it was hard for me to figure out if I have hit an enemy or gotten hit.

But great game and if you develop this further let me know!

This is really nice! I love the art and the particles are really nice. I love becoming both a speed demon and a killing machine at the same time. It's kind of an abrupt end though, and there isnt anything at the top.

Nice, I had some bugs (enemies disappearing, freezing after an upgrade) but it's a fun game.

Nice game, pretty challenging at first then it gets almost too easy. I had some enemies disappearing sometimes and the game get harder to read with the snow and the camera movements. But there is a unique atmosphere and I really enjoyed playing it :)

Fun game to play and nice one to look at,  The path being on a circle is really interesting compared to the usual always go right games.

Upgrade system is nice but maybe have a pause in reading player input when it pops up because if someone were to mash the attack button they would just choose something at random.  Not that I would button mash...

Got to 1000m at around level 17 but didn't seem to be able to trigger an ending - I'm assuming its not in the game?

Developer(+1)

yeah we didn't have time to make an ending

Understandable - I still had fun bonking cats and snowmen with a big stick.  The journey is more important than the destination.

I reached the top and I expected some kind of epic bossfight but this is a game jam so obviously there's no time for working on one. Any kind of closure would have been nice though, unless there was a bug

Overall nice game with good atmosphere between all parts of the game. I just tried to pass through the enemies at first then realized I could gain levels. My character probably went a little too powerful an the game became maybe a little too easy.

I would have added just a small time freeze with some kind of animation before displaying the level options. I often clicked one randomly because it appeared while I wash mashing my mouse to beat an enemy.

This could expand easily by diversifying the gameplay.
