A weird place with weird dudes. You devour and send them to perhaps an even weirder place ?
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Everything except for the music was made from scratch. We had a few Unity package for like wingman and odin inspector though.

Super cute and a fave of the jam for me! I love the character design and the adorable sfx. It was impossible to play on keyboard though. I don't have a controller to play with but I trust the other comments that it works. It's good to know that the little guys yearn for the hole, that made me feel better XD

Did the control scheme on k&m not work at all or was it hard to aim with k&m since you only have 8 directions? The game is definitly aimed for controller inputs but should be playable with k&m.
It was hard to aim! I was definitely able to try (and made many attempts) but I was totally unsuccessful each time.
The game is definitly harder and clanky with k&m. Hope you still had a good time!

The game is really polished looking and the dudes are really cute,
Had a hard time playing with keyboard though, I couldn't throw dudes in the right direction and would have appreciated it to be done with the mouse, with some sort of trajectory shown on the screen.

We thought about having a directional throw with preview and I think it would definitly be the better option for keyboard but we wanted the throwing experience to be more dynamic. The throw and movement are way better with a controller and it was the main input device we were targetting.
I think the best solution might have been to keep the current control scheme for the controller and make the direction of the throw dependant on mouse direction.
But event with this configuration k&m might have been way stronger than controller and we might have lost some dynamics we wanted to preserve (the player needs to move towards the hole to throw the dudes inside it but at high screen saturation this can lead to eating some unwanted dudes).
Cool game! The most I could get was 1100 but I had a lot of fun playing this!

All levels share the same leaderboard so getting a highscore on the first level is impossible, so if you stayed on the first level don't feel discouraged, having a low score is normal!

Yeah I haven't had the time to totally fix clipping inbetween the player hole and score holes. Something I need to work on for a future update it make it a little more polished! Thanks for trying the game!

I loved the game. Easy to understand, simple mechanic but very fun to play and very well polished. Well done!
Keep an eye on the spawning points because if they spawn over a hole the player can lose points unfairly and also if they spawn over player's hole they bug a bit.
Yeah I've noticed that I have some changes I will ship when the jam is over. This one is one of the latest for the level 3 they will spawn at a random position on the sphere edge instead of anywhere in the sphere. Another one is a timer on every Score Hole like for the player but that shows how long the hole stays on. The last one is some fix on the weird dude that behaves weirdly some time (he doesn't roll as well and sometime teleports).
