When I hit enemy first time and I heard that "Augh" sound I knew this is a masterpiece hahah, yeah love the sounds and the style all around. Very unique and fun good job! : )

Stan the Strange is the most unique platformer I've played so far in the jam! The style is well supported by the music and sound effects (loved the enemy sfx), which created a cute, sort of goofy environment which juxtaposes the fighting aspect. I was really drawn to the cover image of this game. I noticed myself smiling the whole time I was playing. Congrats on your first jam (it's my first one too!) and congrats on the game!

Thanks so much! I'm so glad that I was able to achieve how I wanted people to feel while playing my game! And sweet! I have had so much fun with this game jam and I will be sure to play your game and review it!

I love the style of your game, it has charisma. And the ou of the enemies, perfect addition. I enjoyed a lot your game, maybe a little bit less of life to the enemies will be better, and a smaller hitbox, so they can get closer and be more dangerous. But really your game doesn't need changes, I enjoyed just like it is, good work!

Thanks a ton for playing! And I agree, some more work on polish on enemy balancing would have done wonders for my game and after the game jam is over I may very well try to improve the game and add more content! Thanks again!

Perhaps the best platformer game I have ever played, words can't describe how much joy I felt playing this masterpiece of artwork.

Pretty good for a one person game. I love the naive kind of visual, feel like your a kid's drawing. I specially love the sounds made with voice ahah

Feel free to test our game !

Developer

HAHA thank you! The goal was to make it like a child's drawings so I am glad I achieved that!

Developer

Thanks for playing! And yes I definitely should have made a checkpoint system and I will be thinking about that when working on my next game! Than you for your feedback!

So goofy. Had me smiling the whole time especially when hitting the enemies.

I really appreciate how you took control of the games style based on the limitation of being a one man team, great job, it was quite fun
