Nice! Although it is a bit hard to read the text when you upgrade.

Pretty fun! It was easy to get into the gameplay loop and keep playing. I didn't run into any issues,

Really fun! The weapons feel like they get super powerful while at the same time I never felt overpowered.

There’s a few small issues like stacking audio getting insanely loud, or performance issues as particle count grows, but these are minor and expected for a jam.

I’d love to see things like better feedback on how to get the level ups and progress towards them.

Also, screw those green guys. Absolute insanity.

Really good game. Maybe a little faster upgrades and scaling

Fun class system at the beginning that evolves into a survivors-like with time. Appreciate the permanent upgrades, makes it replayable :) the game could be a biiiit more difficult for my taste. Maybe a modifier you can chose?

Developer

That's actually a really good idea and might use it the next time!

This really got me back into the days of playing fun flash games on newgrounds with some immaculate vibes. These kinds of games aren't usually my style but I did get kind of invested trying to upgrade my candy cane all the way. I do think there's a couple balance/scaling issues (enemies quickly became unkillable, upgrades ran dry after a while), but I like how you made enemy groupings interesting, and managed to pull off some challenging bosses.

Developer

Yeah definitely needs a lot more balancing, thanks for playing!

Cute, very relaxing until it isn’t. The tile effects were very neat.

Developer

The tiles were actually for debugging/visualizing the spawning parameters and was supposed to be  just a placeholder (like the main character sprite) haha

I loved this game! It evokes that growing "cozy incremental" genre on Steam using Survivors-y mechanics. Discovering there were permanent upgrades was a very welcome surprise and I went for a couple more runs just to try them out. I also thought the art, music, and visual effects (especially the ground and particle effects) were really aesthetically pleasing and showed great taste. I would pay for a full version of this on Steam with more spells, a permanent upgrade tree, the works!

Thanks  I'm really glad you liked it!

The tile pattern is interesting!

Fun. I love rogue-likes! The enemies' homing bullets made it get pretty difficult pretty quick! Great job!

Developer

Yeah I think it's too  difficult, needed  more time to  balance it. Thanks for  playing!
