How does the game fit the theme?
The deep dark of the abyssal depths makes sense as a strange and mysterious place.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
I re-used some code from previous projects (mostly for system stuff like audio and changing menues). The boid system in the game is not made by me. The audio are either bought sound effects or downloaded (all sounds are free for comercial use except for the bought once). The art was made by me for this game jam.

Very cute. It took me a while to figure out what was happening and what I was supposed to do. Screen is just black in black and the weak flashlight didn't help much. So, I didn't last very long on all my tries.  Did enjoy failing!

Settings directly on menu is nice.

Conceptualy very solid and prety well executed, I particularly enjoyed the end and how the menu got updated after finishing the game, that was a nice touch. The main gameplay is simple yet works well, i think the game suffers a bit from the flashlight being so tiny, i think i slight increase would do make it so you dont have to spin your flashlight around every second to not die. Other than that complaint i don't have much else to criticise, well done.

(ALSO, the sounds settings are a lie, it only changes the sound in the menu.)

It's really fun. I love atmosphere with minimal light, and it's nicely unites with game design of level. It has good balance of progressive difficulty, and even though the gameplay was simple, it was good as is (maybe with a few QoL features)

That underwater ambiance is really good. Simple yet nice game.
