I have never wanted to get out of a train so bad. This game sells the atmosphere amazingly well with some serious vibes. AND on top of that it's ridiculously well written, with quirky camera shots, and the visuals are just perfect for this non-space over here. What an absolute gem in this little jam! AMAZING game.

I loved this a lot! I am so bad at puring drinks lol
The atmosphere is sublime
I really enjoyed the vibe, the visuals and the dialogues, it all makes a very cool atmosphere. Loved how the passengers and carriages change abruptly after a dialogue, very unsettling and cool idea. It is very very polished!
If I run to the end of the train (no E Talk) -> cart disappear/clamp behind door.
Bug:
2nd train I waited a little & my hand twisted by 270 degrees. I couldn't pour drinks into pot,
1 ... locked from next door
2 ... twisted physics
3 ... 3 tries -> waited 2mins for hand to do 360 to be able to pour juice in pot again
Visual bug of Juice Disappear
Hand stays twisted after customer CANCEL action pour drink
Sound
I hear sound reload noise -> maybe blend multiple sound at same time, or some 2nd sound -> to blend this pop
Voice acting / Fake sentences would do great
Aesthetics
Love aesthetics it fits together well,
only outside is repetitive too much (I found pattern)
good shader effect to twist
Gameplay Problems:
1 ... Unable to move between car -> if I do not want to pour drinks
2 ... Locked action pour drink -> unusableto cancel when my hand is rotated 270 degree until customers gets angry
3 ... after some repetitions (not following any script) -> feels like my decisions are scripted
(if you follow script & succeed then very good -> if you try things random/your way it feels scripted)
Hey thank you for your detailed review:
You can rotate the hand with Q and E to keep it upright, this not a bug but a feature! If your glass rotates too much it will empty.
I agree that voice acting would add to the atmosphere of the game.
As of now the game as it is, IS scripted. it's mostly on rails to tell a story. If we were to expand on it we would definitely add more choice to it. But for this jam we did not have time to pack in more content/decision based content.
Thanks for playing and leaving such a detailed review!
Really cool art-house–style game! I’m just glad the beer bottle seemed to hold about 10 gallons. I probably spilled at least eight trying to hit the glass 😄
Incredible jam game, the art direction, the gameplay its all really well done, and those "cutscenes," it's all so good. Personally I'd leave it here, maybe aside from some polish, this game doesn't need to become anything "more", it's amazing as is.
9.5/10 :D
Super engaging game, really cool concept. The graphics are really nice and suit the whole atmosphere really well, same with the text and camera movement, and it was cool to see the environment change when moving to another train cart. The gameplay of pouring a drink into the glass is simple yet challenging and fun, and I really loved the dialogue of the guy telling you the controls 😆. This game was an entire experience, really well done!
Hi
I liked the panning sound as you turned to the customers.
Passengers had some deep stories in their hearts; you never know what the other is dealing with.
The balancing mechanic was fun.
A thought: could there be a different type of glasses for different drinks ? a champagne glass, a beer glass.
Otherwise, very cool, good jam game.
Thank you
Great game! The graphics and the dialogues are great! But my favorite part was surely the camera work, it felt so artistic
Momma might have been an alcoholic the way I was pouring that drink
I love the artwork of this game. I felt a bit bad spilling drinks all over customers as they poured their hearts out to me...
