Movement was a little tricky to get the hang of, but your art and design was amazing. I think with some polish, this could have some great gameplay. Congrats on the submission!
Beautiful art and audio, and I love the Monument-Valley-esque impossible geometry!
The art and sound design are stunning. I got stuck at one point, but I still enjoyed the game very much. It creates a great dreamy atmosphere.
The art style is awesome and the concept was honestly really well executed!!!! Kudos for that. My only complaint was the same as the others: the movement ;P Anyway, really cool game with smart puzzles!!!!
very enjoyable, could not figure out the arrows puzzle haha
Honestly, a really cool game, the isometric pixel art is just amazing and the interpretation of the theme is pretty intresting, and even tought I got stuck at a certain point, I enjoyed it. Well done!
what a fantastic game. This hit me on a personal level because I both love the Escher-like shapes and I am trying to learn pixel art, so this was a complete package. Really beautiful stuff, well done. I loved the atmosphere.
the world is so fluid and smooth, even with the weird shapes, that it makes me wish the mouse clicks had a pathfinding element to it. It breaks a little bit from the flow to have to keep redirecting the character, especially in such a cool world around it. But overall an incredible submission, amazing job
Thanks so much! I'm definitely gonna change the movement once the jam is over.
Very nice art ! cute puzzles (I tend to enjoy thinking more than noticing matching things, but still, had a good time)
I'm curious about the waterfall button. It seemed to me only one state of the water was "valid", I would've expected both to be interesting, providing a choice in which paths are available/closed ?
I'm jealous of the character's awesome clothes with so few pixels !
(As mentioned by others, the movement is a bit frustrating)
Yeah, for the waterfalls I wanted to add a way to loop back to the start so that the puzzle would be solvable. I only made it so that it teleported you to the room after the waterfalls, though. I probably would have thought through the design more if I had more time, maybe adding more doors that were blocked by waterfalls to make the puzzle less straightforward.
I see Escherian geometry having a blast this jam, huh. Pretty cool game, got stuck for a little bit on the birds puzzle until understood that there's second one, that ambiguous piano pic made me think that I remembering notes wrong lol. And completely stuck on the arrows puzzle, no idea how I should approach that one.
Anyway, visual are cool, places are strange indeed, and the most thing I adored is having unique and authentic soundscape for each place.
Pretty good. I think the movement was a bit clunky and the notes in the bird puzzle was not very clear so I spent like 20 minutes on that puzzle, I think the last puzzle was great though. I can definitely see the influence of monument valley in the design and I think it's really cool. Good job!
super charming with a dreamy atmosphere, the sound design & music really makes it come to life. would be interested to hear your inspirations for making this.
Definitely games like Monument Valley and Fez. They were both a big inspiration.
The art style is charming and fits the game perfectly
Exceptional. Far more intricate than I imagined at the start, with beautiful visuals and immersive sound design. The last puzzle was a doozy, but very rewarding once solved. Real treat to play, would definitely recommend. At the very start, was a little annoyed with the character moving directly towards the click instead of some kind of pathfinding, but realized as it went on that it was probably intentional to make navigating the isometric levels part of the puzzle. Great game overall
Thanks! If I had more time, I would have likely changed the movement to slightly include pathfinding, but I wanted to have time to work on the rest of the game.
Really cool puzzles and atmosphere, great polish!!! :>
Great artwork and atmosphere! I did notice that I was able to walk through the waterfall where it probably shouldn't have been able to do that
Ok I see. You can keep walking and at some point you clip through the wall. I'll fix it when voting is done.
This is great, I really love the artwork and the character. I would play more of this.
